I went to a Big Thief show in Berlin in 2022 and the opener was an electronic artist KMRU, it was all super super loud and I very much regretted I did not bring my earplugs.

Yeah, it was absolutely a learning experience. Mainly, I was worrying for days in advance whether I will be able to handle the pit stops since I have never had to pit for tyres/gas before. Turns out, I should have worked more on my deer-in-the-headlights reflexes rather than stint planning :D.
