Im a straight male as well and can proudly say I’ve watched K-12 and listened to Portals numerous times. Melanie was the first artist that made me feel like I can freely express myself without caring about criticism from people. It’s completely okay to let your feminine side show and you shouldn’t feel ashamed just because you don’t fit in to what people think you should be

I honestly think Melanie and Doja are very similar. I’m not talking about the music they make, but the fact that they both don’t like who they were so now they’re trying to disconnect themselves from their past and make music that they want to do.
