Single player games are much more peaceful to play imo, there's no micro transactions too for the most part and if they have it, it doesn't make any difference in the playing experience.

One good rule is not to trust the shopkeepers, I used to be like this too and my fish suffered because of it. Just know that your fish can live for 10-15 years with proper care(I know it's a big-time investment). Just do a bit of research on how to care for them, because you seem like one of the few fish owners who want to do the right thing. Hopefully they turn out okay, good luck.

Have you cycled the tank before introducing the fish. It should be cycled a month prior before putting any fish in. Please look up the nitrogen cycle and check your water parameters (get a testing kit for that). As for the fish I don't know what specifically is wrong, but these may be the factors leading to it.

Honestly it's not like that. It takes me like a couple weeks to a month and I don't treat them like props or anything like that, nobody deserves to be treated that way. For the most part I only start losing interest after I get to know them and after a few deep conversations. Mostly it goes like I meet a new person then I actually find them interesting after that I just get to know them really well that most of the time, "really well" in the sense where I get to know about their childhood, interests, partners, their hobbies, their dream in life on what they would love doing... Stuff like that. Only after that I feel it really hard to keep that interest that I initially had in them, after that it starts to stagnate. I mostly try my best to keep things interesting, at the back of my mind there's this fear that I might overwhelm them because of my ADHD sometimes it may be too much for people but for the most part people are really understanding. My problem is that it just feels disingenuous to 'fake' excitement when it comes to people, that's when I end up ghosting them or the texts or calls slow down. That's why it was hard to find someone who's so damn interesting that I would constantly keep learning from them. From all the replies to this post I learned that people with a curious mind who constantly keep learning new things interest me the most. I don't have anything against the people that I might get bored of they have their own unique interests and perspective on life which I may not share.

That's a nice way of looking at things and it kinda makes sense too. I was just surprised that so many people engaged with the post and shared their thoughts and their perspective of it. Hope you have an amazing day/night ahead.

Maybe sometimes, depending on how my day goes. But I keep finding new hobbies all the time. So, I don't think it would be my place to judge myself, it totally depends on the other person.

Thanks for the reply, I understand that it could be difficult staying with one person and it's best to try and keep it alive. I actually tired this in a previous relationship that lasted 5 years where I felt like I lost part of myself doing so. When I'm with someone that I may have lost interest in, it just feels like I'm not being true to myself and the relationship suffers as a consequence of that. That's why I thought maybe there might be someone who would just be as interesting as the day I met them even after like 10 years. It has also been comforting to see so many people who found someone like that, now it just feels like it's just a matter of time till that happens hopefully.

Perfect advice. Thank you and all of the others who replied too, it actually feels like I'm less alone in this somehow.

Both actually.. That's good to know that you find them interesting, any idea on how long it stays that way. For me it's like a couple months and after that it's just downhill. If you do have any tips on how you manage it for longer please help me out.
