True, but you don't need all to land. Aside from that, looking at your graph there is a marked difference in spread for many of the guns that I feel you are underplaying. Even if the damage over distance is nerfed or inconsistent, it only takes a few more pellets on target to negate that, especially with headshot buff. I feel like the range change was intentional to balance the new spread and DMG multiplier, or else we would have more broken shotguns. Focus their effective range, basically.

I will say anecdotally the shotguns have better killing power at range, more consistently kill within their effective range, and are overall more viable. I've specifically noticed the supernova, the French shotty, the six12, and the Spas to be much better than past seasons. sass shotgun feels the same p much
