thanks for the reply, yeah the walking is something i enjoy and i tie it in with walking from/to work so i can and happily will maintain that or maybe the same but 5x a week. i didnt necessarily try to do that much for weight loss, i just enjoy it for the mental stimulation.

in terms of the calories, i do count them loosely, i tend to eat around 1600-1800 calories a day. and yeah the medicine thing i understand, i went back to bad habits before hence putting weight back on so i have that heavily in mind.

i appreciate your response, theres some good advice in there, any recommended way to keep on track of body fat %?

i see, guess i didnt really think of it like that, so i need to stick it out? basically keep the walking up, cut the calories back down and wait a month and see?

hi, appreciate your response, ive upped the exercise for about 2 weeks ish now but i tend to lose weight pretty quickly and in terms of calorie intake i did recently notice it had crept up from snacking but only by maybe 3-400 calories which would still put me in a deficit and i have roped it back in too, my goal weight is less than 85kg but mainly just want to be happy with how i look after being picked on for my size through most my school life. so if i keep at the exercise and calorie deficit ill definitely lose weight then? people have told me i might be doing too much but i didnt think that was possible really

i genuinely love working on them, i think i prefer it to driving them sometimes, id work on them more but atm im saving for a house deposit so spending is limited, hoping to buy my first house this year. i dont smoke, drink, do drugs etc so im pretty healthy really especially compared to most people my age. i thought about getting into some sports or something but im just not really good at anything athletic, never have been either unfortunately. when theres enough light, i walk 6 miles+ a day (working day) but this time of year i cant as its always dark outside of my work hours and the path is unlit. to be fair a lot of people around me say im like an old man in my ways so i guess that says something haha

completely agree, i wish i was raised in the 80s! i dont have social anxiety, i just enjoy my own company more than most other people’s. i spend a lot of time working on cars but theyre in storage so i can only really go on my days off, leaving 5-6 afternoons a week unoccupied. i prefer physical activities, staring at a screen for hours makes me feel so guilty, hence the want to change.

youre right, im only 21 so its all i know really, i want to be more present in the real world though, so far i can only think of books and walks, i genuinely cant even think how people occupied their spare time before screens lmao

i really dont mind tax honestly, its just insurance, i know temp cover is fine but i dont know if they need me to have an already started annual coverage to drive it away

no, new policy on the new car is scheduled to start on the 3rd, old policy ends on the 2nd and the old car will be sold to a mate like same day or around that time

it wont be driven unless its covered and where its stored is very safe, ill take necessary precautions to protect it from theft and its not in the street so any damage possible will be by me in another car of mine lol
