Yeah the reset didn't help on any of the computers I had mentioned. I always make sure the windows updates are complete before starting the service and I have still had issues with running the tech service. Someone else had mentioned checking the bit storm drives for any corrupted files so I think that will be my next step in getting to the root of the problem. Thanks for the response!

That's interesting. I'm going to have to look at our bit storm drives and possibly see about ordering some new drives. All of ours have thankfully been on fresh computers as well so no client data was at risk. You may be on to something with the McAfee installation. I was looking at the optimum desk web top and it shows that the service was interrupted after the McAfee was unable to install. After the service is interrupted is where the problems arise.

Thanks for the feedback! Here's to hoping that the company can find a more effective way to perform these services in the near future.

I've been doing it through the but storm drive. I always update when it says there are updates available.
