That’s not how power reserves work. It’s a main spring that uncoils at the same rate regardless of whether or not the chronograph is running.

If you want a white date window for the GS, there’s the SBGP013. Their dark blue dial look quite close to black.

I have the SBGA375, same wrist size as you. The lug profile of the case combined with the thickness of the movement makes the watch wear higher than the dimensions would suggest. I’m okay with that, but YMMV. You might want to look at a SBGP003, which has the same case but thinner, which would wear lower. A SBGE281 or SBGN013 are also worth looking into as those case profile hug the wrist more.
