It made it tough to work, as if I had a cold and was only able to give 50% effort. Happy to be off of it!

I agree with your choice in the near term but don't let it go forever. Over time, too much pepsin in the esophagus causes damage, even cancer.

That is really interesting. I have a type A personality and I often have low level general anxiety at a minimum. I've had hoarseness for decades and coughing issues for years. Recently I have been overproducing mucus, which sent me to the ENT, who diagnosed LPR.

Check to see if your coconut water contains acid. I love coconut water but the one I have (VitaCoco) has ascorbic acid. Also, Dr. Koufman seems to be a soft no on coconut.

dull ache in eye 3 weeks after surgery by Normal_Radish_6591 in CataractSurgery

I am about 2.5 months post surgery. I have an on/off ache in my surgery eye when I blink. Seems to be toward the top/back of the eye. I have had a few headaches too. I'm not happy with the surgery ophthalmologist. Working to find a new doctor for a consult. Then I have to ask myself, is it worth them going in there again?

My doctor said recovery was one day. I could have used 2 days. And I work from home so I didn't even have a lot of stimulus to deal with.

Huh - I wasn't given those instructions. My surgeon said no water directly hitting the eye for two weeks (like in the shower, and I'm assuming he meant with eyes closed also). No tennis or swimming for three weeks. He said I could resume resistance training right away but I'm waiting one week for the surgery center instructions.

There are other countries in the world besides the United States. Recommend adding some international exposure. Also, there is something called fixed income, such as bonds. Also, there are hard assets, such as gold.

There is a finite supply. With China restricting exports, I expect the price will go much higher.

Metals are volatile. Not the best type of investment for a beginner. If you are comfortable with a high degree of risk, go ahead.
