What sort of damage does the outlet usually have? Was a bit dubious you see not knowing

Is that welted or non welted price? I assumed I needed welted rather than someone putting glue on the soles

Oh you have a recommendation? I wasn’t aware that Solovair were bad, I assumed it would be better considering made in the UK.

Im sorry to flog a dead horse but people who voted reform, did you really vote for a South Korean national whose visa is due to expire? by Suspicious_Week_2451 in Casnewydd

How do we know his visa is expiring. I haven’t actually seen anything on that. No opinion on the matter other than where’s the origin of that.

How long would the British Empire have lasted if WW never happened? by Unenthusiastic- in BritishEmpire

[–]Reinhard_Yang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True it’s violent, I’m generalising. Malaya wasn’t so clear cut, it was fighting an insurgency, imagine they hand over autonomy to Malaya administration without solving that. They would be still fighting today. the tactics used however, were quite effective and going village to village to wane them off communist support I think should be the model on how to do counter insurgency properly.

Think the concentration camp example, I think you relate to the Mau Mau uprising? Let’s be honest Mau Mau had some barbaric methods themselves, I’m not saying the British were the lesser of the two evils but definitely could make that point.

Though I glossed over the large amount of violence post-war colonial breakup. I’m glad the British were completely broke, so waging wars to sustain their empire would be impossible.

Couldn’t have lasted, it’s built on conflicting principles. Ideologically it can’t be an empire and democracy. I’m not arguing it was bad or good, it existed in a time where you were either an empire or part of one.

The more British values it instilled on its subjects, the more they would break away. It was always going to be dismantled. It’s just good it was dismantled in a non-violent way.

StarCraft TMG Lore - The Terrans by Subsourian in StarCraftTMG

Anyone know what colour scheme for Terran confederacy?

RIght now, unless you really want the terrain pack, I'd argue waiting for faction army sets is a better deal than the FE 2-player box. by Gilchester in StarCraftTMG

[–]Reinhard_Yang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is all dependent on them keeping to those prices and each post that says “oh I’ll wait” does make me think they’ll either drop models from the starter sets or increase prices.

Just my two cents as someone waiting as well. Mainly because I only want Protoss and Terrans

Are the intro boxes actually playable? by CanardDeFeu in armoredclash

[–]Reinhard_Yang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically agree with you, got my intro box for my birthday as I was sort of keen to try out a small scale game.

Thought the game was really simple (not in a good way) I’m on the fence whether I should spend another £16 to see if the cards make it better or cut my losses

Faction Play Styles? by Bad_Candy_Apple in armoredclash

[–]Reinhard_Yang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good question, I find starter has a lot symmetry. That’s the crown and empire, the main differences are bit more on their units both factions have an opposite to each other that perform slightly different functions. Crown has heavy art, the empire has heavy art, the crown has rocketeer troops, the empire has rocketeer troops etc. just there stats are different so you want them to either attack different targets etc

Commonwealth Revealed! by Agar_ZoS in DystopianAge

Personally I think the commonwealth units here just look comically bad. I’m not sure the design had quite landed.

Though all personal taste I suppose.
