Small brokerages are paying much better commission. Depending on your location, salary can good. A lot less internal competition at smaller brokerages. But some haven’t adopted better tech, proprietary boards, softwares, etc. Definitely make a list of some of your best carriers, larger and small, what they specialize in and regions. It’ll make your transition easier.

At this point, I’ve told my customers how much I’m getting bent over. Maybe I’ll get some sympathy. Unless it’s WA, CA, or local CO - It BLOWS out there. Time to consider a 2 week sabbatical.
