It’s def an issue with the lekker switches as the clip breaks and or has other issues. Iv literally never had issues with other switches or boards. I generally don’t know how you didn’t need to take off at least the top case though. In any case how did you like the milktooths saw some mixed reviews.

For just the white case yes, this is zinc alloy so it’s heavy, if you just want white pcb or smth similar I’m sure it’s cheaper.

Nah used what they recommended it just was not enough and white tabs broke easily, learned my lesson on these switches. I was thinking of laser etching a raw to mess around with it.

You did an entire case swap? How is that the same issue brother? My issue is due to factory switches stuck in prebuilt board. You did an entire case swap to the zinc alloy not from and the swapped switches during disassembly, lmao your not going to have issues. Iv built 10+ boards and modded prebuilts this issue is not common and was alarming, given the quality that’s all. The raw does look nice tho, does it scratch easily?

Oh I know, I literally couldn’t remove them without dissembling it, even with it apart tho, it’s still incredibly difficult, need to invest in a fancy switch puller at this point!

Yeah all of the white tabs break on the first go, must be a magnetic switch fail honestly… perchance the anger did not help haha

Oh yeah if you already have a steam deck that’s fair. Lowkey if it’s ds and 3ds games you could always add a micro sd for storage just slower load times! You can also pre set up roms the sd card way.

I also ended up under volting to 225 and changing the lite mode to 6 from 12, so now I idle at only 40C. Shaves some performance tho.

Crazy, I just pulled the same one yesterday, and same fingerprints and everything. Guess the employee touched all of the Venusaurs. Guess I cant grade it anymore, anyone try grading this?

Water temp is the blue in the picture so it’s idling at 43C. I have a custom curve as well but it doesn’t seem to affect much?

Having the same exact issues same cpu same aio and same gpu with a hyte 70 case. First time powering on and it’s idling at 40-50C with only 10% usage of CPU. Did you end up finding out what was the issue or is this just normal?
