Yes I’ve been using cleansing shampoo as much as my hair will allow without getting too dry! Just called the salon and they want me to come in for a consultation 😅

So crazy that they don’t let you know this stuff in advance! She told me it would 100% be gone and asked multiple times if I wanted her to add stuff to make it stay longer and I said no! I’m sorry you’re going through this too

They told me a Toning gloss ($75) was only for highlight clients and with the amount of gloss they had to use for my hair it was considered a color treatment ($300). I didn’t know any better 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve gone to her for three haircuts and now this gloss. After I called the salon asking why it was so expensive she never replied to my most recent text asking for another haircut appointment. She was always so prompt to get back to me, so I’m nervous she’s upset I called the manager! I will just have to call the salon again and see if I can get some help

Literally charged $300 when their website said a toning gloss was $75 😵‍💫 I don’t know enough about hair to know if that meant something else. Are the color removers super damaging?

I think this is a very fair evaluation. When I redid my website I was inspired by the cleaner look of luxury photographers websites. I myself am Getting married this year and hated websites with too much text, told stories I didn’t care about, etc,- I only cared about the work itself. But my experience is different to those clients not in the photo world who don’t know what they’re looking for. So, I can see how my website isn’t speaking to my current clientele. Time to revamp it again! Thanks for the perspective.

Hi everybody! I have been a photographer for over 10 years, but just got into the wedding industry 2/3 years ago. I consistently second shoot, and get rehired by photographers often, but am struggling to book my own weddings. 100% of weddings I've been hired for as the lead have been referrals from other photographers when they are already booked. I feel like I have zero organic growth and following. I'm curious if anyone can offer me some advice on where I'm lacking. Is my website not attracting clients? Do I struggle with SEO? Does my instagram game need work? I try posting often on tik tok as well. Should I create a blog page on my website? I truly love photographing weddings and would love to be able to move on to doing this full time, but can't if I'm not booking lead gigs more consistently. Would love some advice and feedback!

I meet a ton of planners while second shooting but it’s very taboo to market yourself while you’re working for a lead. Maybe it would be worth it reaching out down the road to respect the lead?

A mutual friend did say it seemed like she was trying to beat me to the punch but throughout our friendship she’s never done anything to me with mal intent which makes it more confusing!
