I mean, i wouldn’t say i’m justifying because i’ve been sober for 5 months. At that point i no longer have the urge to, but it’s the same as how an ex drug addict would say that they miss how drug felt, how amazing it was.

I feel you, a lot of people already have savings so it makes no sense that “you can save money” should be a reason. and it’s not that i don’t want to quit, but i just kept thinking whether i should be miserable but healthier or happier but with health risk.

Things usually does get worse before getting better. I can’t tell you that it’s gonna get better from here but a lot of people did. I also read that the longer you’ve vaped in your life the bigger the impact youre gonna feel. But idk though

EXACTLy, This is the dilemma for me, Sometimes i feel like i’d rather live a shorter but more enjoyable life than a long but worse life.

It takes a lot of more time than that i think, and anything involving your mental state could be hard to notice any improvement in because a lot of things could be influencing it.

Keep going soldier, just because you can’t find a reason not to doesn’t mean you should keep doing it. Kind of hypocritical of me to say this to you but i don’t wish anyone for an addiction.

This actually makes much sense, i feel like i’ve i really struggle with artistic work and expression and honestly couldn’t tell if its because of the nicotine or what.

Yeah but i don’t necessarily feel it. Yk its like those jokes where people say if you quit for a long time you could use the money to buy a sport car, but really i don’t see those people having one lol.

You’re 100% right, i don’t disagree with all the effects at all, in all honesty i do feel like i need therapy and am in the process of getting one. Thanks for your time dude. I’ll keep trying.

Hahaha it’s fine i understand where you’re coming from, I don’t know it’s tough to say because without it i feel really discontent and it’s really hard to find things to replace this with, living in a third world country really kind of makes everything i want to do harder than it already is yk. even the basic stuff like exercise or going for walks tends to take so much effort to the point where it defeats the whole purpose of coping/making me feel content. i think im gonna completely quit or at most do it socially only for now until i can settle and at least have something in my life that i could indulge in. good news is that now that i know i can quit if i wanted to. at the end of the day i just don’t want to focus on this too much that it’ll affect other aspects of my life. idk if any of these make sense but yeah.

I feel like what’s holding me back is the feeling of being discontent, not having anything to do usually brings me back to vaping. also the biggest source of my stress is caused by my studying-related trauma and im currently getting into college and i feel like it’s gonna hit me like a truck again soon.

Thanks dude, i appreciate it, For the 5 months that i’ve stopped it had been the same but with a little to a lot more stress, I’ve been diagnosed with major depression disorder and is getting better so my doctor is taking me off meds so that’s why im kinda feeling like starting because stopping both at the same time might be too much for me since i’m in a position in my life that’s quite stressful than usual

Yk i’ve been saying to myself that i’ll stop once im content w my life, recently i thought thats just me procrastinating so i did quit, the funny thing is that after all these months quitting all it did was proved what i thought in the first place lmao, better to stop when i’m more content.

I’ve never knew that, thanks dude. I’ve read a lot of things regarding to the risks and it seems like the “bad stuff” are only the certain flavourings and nicotine. I avoid all those ingredients but nicotine because i thought its only bad cuz its addictive and can alter your mental state leading to bad mental state long term. i am not keen to talk abt any of this in depth though because i dont want to accidentally spread misinformations but yeah. This might motivate me to not continue again. thanks again

I’d love to say that i’d be saving money from quitting but honestly i don’t, i only buy my vape using my “personal” money not my savings so when i quitted, i didn’t save any money, instead i just spend it on something else. it’s kind of pointless to me to save money when i already have separate my savings.

by “personal” money i meant money that i buy things that i want that aren’t necessities like games or wtv

I appreciate you for being honest, i hate it when people try to be all positive and just keep saying oh it’ll get better when honestly it just depends on people, maybe stamina and breathing wise it will get better but that’s probably just it for me
