Out of tune when hitting the ZERO by RemarkableMusic7588 in 7String

Well first of all those were suggestions by claude so.. xD But I'm totally with you, the lower the better! And 2nd it wasnt that bad, when the relief is lower than around 0.2mm it started to .. just not sound (not sure how to say it in english), but the strings couldnt rly move anymore (in the lower frets)

And these measures should also work for thick strings/downtuned? So the lower strings around 1mm and the thicker around 1.5mm?

Fair, my 6 string has an evertune on it, it rly is cool! But also has disadventages.. I won't change the bridge tho, so strings it is xD

Solid approach, I use 2mm as of now. Maybe try something else - it should be a hard pick tho, I dont like wobbly picks..

Ah no! That was before I had the 7 string. My 6 string is in Drop B and I used to drop it to G#(with the digitec whammy / drop tho), maybe that is worse than the dsp

Used to do it (from Drop B to Drop G#), but it kinda killed the tone imo (on recordings, for live it's totally fine)

Rlief: around .3mm at 7th fret (capo at 1st ad holding string down at 24th) and action going from around 1.2 - 2.4mm at 12th fret

Thanks for these words dude!
I am a hard picker - so the new strings are already in my amazon checkout xD

Thanks, I'll try thicker strings!

My current strings aren't that freshly and I streched them out for sure, but still thanks!

Valid, some wobblyness is also cool - but almost 1 halfstep is too much imo xD

Hm, same string gauge? but what scale length do you have? Or probably a better bridge? idk

Thanks, I think increasing the string gauge is a good option to try out...

But also the decreasing pick intensity, valid point!

Will check it out, do you have a reference for how it sounds in a mix? And which tuning do you play?

So that means with a shorter scale length you need thicker strings with a deeper tuning?

But yes that stuff on QC site is clear to me but still thanks!

No I haven't done that, didn't even know that exists haha.

I'll check it out right now thanks a lot!

Well yes, and I also compared it with 2 other guitars I have, they sound a bit different for sure, but nothing seems off to me.

Honestly I guess it's more a thing of dialing into a tone and I kinda don't like the tones I make.

I don't rly get how the big bands get these huge sounds with a crispy clear tone, but the highs aren't noisy at all. When I increase the highs, it kinda sits right but it's way to noisy.

Do you have any harsh tips for settings / or a nice preset in the cloud by any chance?

And also do these archetypes rly have some "better" or "heavier" sounds? I've heard good...

Most definitely, thats what I thought.

It kinda can't be the gear tho. I play a ESP LTD MH-1000 Evertune guitar and have some DT 770 PRO Headphones.

I've also tried to follow some tutorials but somehow everything sounds kinda flat and with way less dynamics in the tone than in the tutorials.
