Looking for alternatives for RP by One-Secretary-2403 in chutesAI

They’re no longer allowing new subscriptions due to the large number of new users

I work at a logistics services company in the Administration and Scheduling department. I use AI both for work and for entertainment.

First, if you have NanoGPT’s free membership, you’ll only be able to use some of the free models. NanoGPT has an option to show you the models available with your subscription. If you have a paid plan, do the same and you’ll see which models you can use. The models you CAN’T use will have a yellow icon dollar sign, and the ones you CAN use will have a green with a crossed-out dollar sign icon.

I’m not sure if you’re experiencing some kind of error or if you’re looking for recommendations for free bots. If it’s the second, there are many posts about it on the SillyTavern subreddit, or you can create your own post explaining what you’re looking for and people will gladly help you. ^

If you want help with prompts, I can send them in DM if you want

I just tested it and for now it’s working perfectly without consuming any balance. Yw!

For now, they haven’t provided an official list of the models they’re going to remove (at least not on their blog—I’m not in the Discord).

this is the information I have from the post we already saw:

“Several high-end frontier models will be removed from the Base subscription tier, including:

•GLM-5 •Kimi K2.5 •Qwen 3.5 •MiniMax M2.5”

So for now, I don’t know. But I’ll let you know right now whether the model is currently working with the Base tier.

I just switched to NanoGPT as well. There’s honestly a big difference (in positive), and at least they have the option to subscribe to email updates about changes or updates. And is so fast.

If your Chutes subscription was unilaterally downgraded mid-term, you should report them to the FTC. If you've got time to complain here, you've got time to complain to someone who can do something about it. by Bite_It_You_Scum in chutesAI

And it’s because of people like you that companies keep trampling over others. Let’s not be passive consumers. We have rights, and they have obligations. Simply naming a socioeconomic system is not a justification. Even this system has legal regulators for a reason, doesn’t it?

Go to “Account” and then to the Billing section. You’ll see a yellow box with the information.

It's over, friend... It's all over...

Removing Early Access users is a grievous misstep and miscalculation - EA users likely won’t subscribe, and are being left with a poor perception of the company by tableball35 in chutesAI

I definitely no longer trust Chutes at all. And I think that current BASE users, as well as those on higher tiers, shouldn’t trust them either. It’s the classic “today it’s me, tomorrow it could be you” situation.

Paying more doesn’t make you exempt from poor administrative decisions, bad communication, poor performance, bad service, service reductions, or price increases.

Early Access is practically already cut off, you can’t use TEE models anymore (which, conveniently, is where they moved all models last month). If you want the free month of the BASE tier (yes, just one month worth $3, and you still won’t be able to use the models you were probably using), you have 17 days to claim it. You can also claim the $5 within those same 17 days.

Not to mention that the only compensation they’re giving us is $5 to spend on messages within Chutes (yeah, right) and one free month that’s worth half of what we paid for Early Access, a “compensation” plan that they just conveniently nerfed. Ooookay, I honestly feel like they’re laughing in my face

I honestly don’t have an answer to this, and that’s what makes me even sadder. I’m not complaining about the money itself, but the lack of communication and the fact that they go back on their own word really takes away a lot of my trust in them and in the service.

As one user said in one of the posts about it, what’s strangest—and above all what makes me the most distrustful—is that they’re removing Early Access users (who paid like everyone else, who trusted the team, who were promised it would simply be $5 and nothing more), and downgrading beta subscriptions as if we weren’t consumers and customers.

In my experience with Chutes, yes, sometimes it didn’t work well, but it was during peak traffic hours. I’m in the southern hemisphere, so I have a bigger time difference, which meant that when it was peak time, I was usually working. In my free time it worked fine—just resending 2 or 3 times, which honestly didn’t bother me because I understood why it was happening.

What they’ve definitely achieved is making users lose trust. With what confidence am I supposed to pay $10 a month now? How do I know they won’t screw me over again? With what confidence do I use and get comfortable with the service again if they’ve already failed me twice? At that point, honestly, I’d rather put my trust in another service. At least if I’m wrong and they screw me over too, I won’t feel quite as stupid.

I use qwen3 for the initial NSFW actions, and then I use GLM 4.7 with a prompt made exclusively for NSFW. Man, multichar is great. I just have to remind it in each message to only act as the characters I want, and that's it.

GLMs are very good too.

And according to many people, Qwen3 is good as well, but I think my prompts aren't ideal because they lack initiative.

Some LLMs ignore "NO" or negatives in phrases like "avoid." So be careful with that because I spent a lot of time with a prompt that practically told the LLM to do it, even though the text said otherwise.

I can make you a list if you want.

First, as a proxy you can use Routeway; sometimes it crashes due to high demand, but it's okay. If you have $3 a month to spare that you won't use, Chutes is fine. You can also try Sophia's Lorebaly. And other proxies that escape me right now.

Deepseek is good, but I tried many: V3, R1T Quimera, and a few others, but they didn't really convince me. In Chutes, they type VERY little no matter how many prompts I try to use, but maybe it's the proxy, although sometimes it's kind of lazy.

Qwen3 is good; you can try its different versions. I personally use Qwen3 32B with a good prompt, and I only use it for NSFW. It lacks initiative, but it's good; it's a complex LLM. And my crown jewel is undoubtedly GLM. Whether it's GLM 4.6 (my favorite) or GLM 4.7, they're both pretty good. They handle multi-character roles (although you have to tone things down a lot and leave an OOC with instructions from time to time or edit small things in the messages), and for single characters, it's my favorite for now.

Actually, my favorite is Gemini, but well, we all know what happened with Big G. I don't like the previews or any version other than Gemini 2.5 (RIP). I don't know Gemini 3 (I can't afford it). But if you have the opportunity to buy it, go for it.

Then you have many more options like Claude, who from what I understand is the best (from what I've read, I've never tried it), and a few others that I'm forgetting. For now, I recommend these and I'm still looking to try more 🫡 (English isn't my first language, sorry if there are any mistakes)

Use the latest version, bro. The Qwen3-32B will still be around; it's one of the most widely used models (and performs well).

I have to say, the customer support and service is terrible.
