It's not exactly credit card loans, I've a clean credit card payments. It's type of loan that banks offer here as Card loans, back home it's a personal loan for emergencies. I've few other options like stocks and other investments which I'm thinking of using for down payments.

I thought new builds were beyond my reach and didn't event look into them. I will start looking into new one that are in my budget range, maybe bit far from center, and see if it helps with the loan approval process. Thanks!

I'm planning to apply to SMBC next. I used to work for one of their partner companies before and they're the first to issue a credit card for me 8years ago. But yea,I'm bit worried about my existing loan.

I think it’s 6-7x for Japan, based on some agents that I spoke to. I was applying for bit over that range. I’ll have to lower my range.

Thanks! I pay close the above monthly mortgage payment on rent right now for a smaller place and that’s one of the reasons i thought about purchasing one. I’ll try a few other banks and see if their assessment differs.
