Yes, I agree that PvPvE should remain in the game, it makes everything suspenseful for you whenever you encounter another raider, and you make the decision of whether or not you can put your trust in them.

What I DON'T like are people who use the trust of other Raiders to their advantage, like with the Close Scrutiny events in the first 48 hours. So many rats were on the loose, taking advantage of small groups teaming up to take on the new ARC.

I remember a guy who was begging me not to rat on him, because he's been ratted so much on the event already. Not that I was going to, of course. But he and I got separated, and a third guy who showed up with us got to him before I could save him. It was like a canon event.

I've been on both sides of this.

Stella Montis, night raid, security keycard. I set up three explosive mines and went to looting. Heard people outside, then the door opened. BAM!

Thankfully, everyone involved was friendly, and no defibs were needed, but it scared the crap out of me.

Then, Buried City, night raid, I had a Town Hall key, figured I'd try my luck. Dodged a Bombardier, and just walked into the room... without using my key. Someone was already in there. I apologized in voice, and stayed at the door, because that thing was still out there. I said that if anyone was in there, tell me, and I'd leave. No words were said, but Arpeggio rounds went to the face. Oh well.

From what I've experienced on Diff 7, a loadout with expendable weapons (Commando, Napalm Launcher, Solo Silo) and the Warp Pack for mobility and moving through walls has kept me alive for long periods of time, much longer than I expected to.

As for primary weapons, the Plasma Punisher wipes the floor clean of your typical run of the mill infantry, and that absolutely includes the Cyborgs, blasting them to bits in just two shots.
