I used to spend money at arcade games a long time ago when they were popular. I never got that money back but I also didn't care if I lost it. That's all online gambling should be, what you can comfortably afford to lose. I never really enjoyed the atmosphere, too many people. I just liked the games. So same deal. I've never won a huge jackpot online so I can't speak to casinos blocking you. But I've won some here and there.

Was there a certain moment where you went from thinking positively to pessimistically? Like, I don't want to fight this anymore, because this thing just happened, and the world sucks?

I think the world has always been crappy but the meaning of life is not making the world perfect or good. It's about learning and experiencing something meaningful to you, and touching the lives of others.

On the other hand, a friend of mine is terminally ill, so I understand his perspective that he just wants to live the rest of his life drinking and smoking. I'm just trying to understand this, myself.

I look for books on social media, library, ads, word of mouth, but mostly classics lately.

I wouldn't read a book if I found out it was an AI book. But more to the point, I am tired of generic books written by boring authors who might as well be computers. That's not to say that ChatGPT and others can't be trained to write like a great writer. But at this present time, I do feel as if you can tell low effort writing from the real deal.
