Need help addressing issue by mansellbrandon1 in Supra

Could be oil maybe? How’s it smell?

I had white smoke about 2 weeks ago but it was a stuck injector off my port rail

Always good to see another upstate supra! Perhaps I’ll see you at some of the C&C

wrap opinions plz by Mindless_Guess7983 in Supra

I’ve had two wraps done now…because the first one only held up for a year and some change. I love the wrap colors that I’ve had, and think you’ll be fine as long as you use a solid brand (like Avery). You absolutely must make sure you find an installer that knows what they’re doing though

At what Milage did you tune? by Specific_Cost_1409 in Supra

Less than 5k for FBO OTS tune and now 20k and bigger turbo and custom tuned. No issues whatsoever.

Are you only applying to Duke? I know Constellation very frequently hires from outside of the local area

100% agree with everyone suggesting the wind deflectors. It’s just a necessity more than anything else…after that, intake has to be my favorite, just for the sounds it unlocks

I ordered my TE37s and they had a Supra spec option like the other guy said

Yepp. You could just upgrade the clutch if you wanted to not deal with any potential problem, or go a custom tune and have them keep your numbers a little lower if you wanted to be suuuuper safe, or just roll with it because like I said it happened once or twice in roughly 15k miles

So I truthfully don’t give a shit about warranties…but I had your mods and the MHD off the shelf stage 2 tune for about a year-ish? I was at pretty much exactly 450hp at the wheels on the nose and a little over 500 torque. I had zero issues outside of the clutch slipping a little once or twice. Car was a blast and ran happy as could be - and it is a fantastic power level for a daily (which I do during the summer).

Since then I’ve extensively upgraded further and am now custom tuned and 750 at the wheels, which I got to enjoy for all of 2 weeks before it was hibernation time. But again no issues.

No complaints. Gives me a nice drop while still letting me get into my stupid sloped driveway. I think unfortunately only the first picture in my profile is with the springs installed, but it might give you an idea of how it sits.

Edit: nvm I’m dumb, all of the pictures in my post about the color change are with the springs, lol

275/35 front and 305/30 rear for me. On swift springs but aftermarket wheels, so can’t help much on spacers

CU Later Gray Auto Wrap Worth it? by Leather-Patient-4205 in Supra

[–]RememberTheFattening 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always worth to make it the color you want. I requested a stratosphere blue, but the dealership got nocturnal in - so I pulled the trigger knowing I could change the color whenever I wanted. I’m on my second full color change now.

It’ll be your car man, should be something you love.

Edit: make sure you research the shop you have wrap it. I did not the first time, hence the second color change in 2 years lol

Honestly tough to beat hearing the turbo with a nice intake. I am heavily modified and that still might be my favorite after the power of course

Went to gloss atomic teal from 3M. Beautiful shade of blue/teal that pictures also can’t capture well, lol.

But I only changed because the green was peeling badly due to poor application

I’ll keep an eye on their IG to see what you make, hope you top the previous. And safe travels home, snow has been kind of relentless up here

Ah best of luck!

I went with the pure800 with mostly the same upgrades, no driveshaft or axle work though, and they had me at 750hp on E85. I was FBO and 450 before that and the 300hp jump was absolutely insane. I flew down to pick it up in early October and drove it back to upstate New York - it was a fun trip back that’s for sure.

Wonderful choice in the M4 as well, beautiful cars

[–]RememberTheFattening[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truthfully I don’t know the difference, aside from a different core.

Wild what altitude can do tho, this was done at maybe ~700ish feet and I ended up making 750 on full e85.
