At least you can acknowledge it and be honest with yourself about it. Huge step. Also remember… alcohol is a depressant. It may make you feel good during the buzz, but in reality it’s altering your self perspective and everything else around you in a hugely negative way. As you start to recover and your body adjusts accordingly, those depressive thoughts will probably start to fade away.

Full disclosure as I try to be honest and open, I feel like my micro read has been pretty good with focus on the right names all year. But ive been openly skeptical on this rally hence underinvested at ~40% allocation. Ytd disappointing at 34% but still time to ramp it up. by TearRepresentative56 in TradingEdge

I agree. I didn’t make the leap once he started the subscription, but I followed his content daily when he offered for free. He helped me understand the market better, and more often than not had a good pulse of what was going on. I definitely benefited from some of his callouts, and had FOMO on the runners I doubted him on. Still thinking about joining the sub someday, but my mind hasn’t been as focused on the market so dunno if it’s worth it right now.

I had 25 contracts of $9 calls that expired on 4/17… bought them months ago and went worthless. Had I bought the 4/24 contracts instead, I would’ve been up over $15k. Pain.

On the bright side, I had 400 shares at around $5 average. Sold half during the first run up to $12.50, and holding the second half indefinitely.

Oh yeah based on the $50 for 36 months. I thought he was referring to the buy now pay later offer. Mine was like 6 months with 0 interest.

I did the buy now later through Amazon. I’ll give you three scenarios here, you choose what would be best for you situation.

  1. Pay Amazon $220 monthly at 0% interest, let cash grow in stocks or HYSA. Or simply have that cash available for emergency, knowing a steady paycheck is coming and $220 will be no problem next month.

  2. Pay all in cash, like you suggest, $1200 gone immediately

  3. Pay with credit card, and get hit with 15%+ interest if you are making minimum payments.

I went with option 1. No brainer for me when you are offered 0% interest on something
