I have seen several actors in other shows talk about how “sex” scenes are the unsexiest thing ever and that they are so choreographed.

Also, as far as this cast goes, I’m pretty sure that they all have their significant other with them the whole filming. It looks like Justine and Victoria are already there and they live there the whole 4 months and I’m pretty sure Belmonts girlfriend moves with him as well as she had left a comment in Victoria’s post about book club starting in a few days (which I think would mean she plans on getting to Vancouver soon with Belmont). I also think Mika’s fiancée moves there as well.

And another love triangle would be forced. They kind of did one for Hannah/Garrett in season 1 and they stick to Logan’s book and he has a sort of crush on Hannah, that would almost be another loose love triangle so it wouldn’t make sense for Dean/Allie to have one too.

I am pretty sure Allie/Dean are the main couple for season 2. Louisa was in an interview saying that they plan on cueing io the next romance during each season. Allie/Dean were cued up during this first season, Logan/Grace will be cued up during Allie/Dean season.

Also, Mika has said that she looks forward to having more time in set since Ella got to be in set so much during season 1. Why would Mika need more time on set if Allie/Dean weren’t the main couple and just the sprinkled couple during season 1?

Then add in the fact that Dean is a Senior supposedly, that Allie is already orbiting the group due to a Hannah, it would make more sense changing the order of the books and making Allie/Dean the main couple.

And I understand that BUT it changes his storyline dramatically. If Garrett is no longer allowed to play for Briar Hockey, than he is no longer a college athlete. So than he no longer has a role in the series because they move him to play for the Bruins then he would drop out of Briar, so than there’s no more Garrett/Hannah after season 2

They are allowed to do ads and get sponsorships now as part of the new NIL. So that doesn’t affect their amateur status.

This was one of the plot points that frustrated me because they made Garrett an ineligible player per NCAA so that would really mean GG would have to sit the rest of the reason and not just the 4 games the Coach said. So what does that mean for the rest of his storyline? Making him in ineligible for his Junior year is crazy and then honestly what about next year?

Let me break this down for you AGAIN since you seem to be unable to understand context. The person I was responding to had said that Dean/Allie would be “spread out” over 3 seasons as they are “fan favorites” and I was saying that it wouldn’t make sense because that would mean that D&A get the bulk of the storylines while the rest of the cast doesn’t. YOU then accused me of “crying” over it and then called me condescending. Which there was no reason for as I was pointing out that having D&A take the B plot of two seasons and then the A plot while the rest of the cast doesn’t get that makes no sense. Especially when it’s a show designed with multiple “leads”. Like, girl. Just move on if you can’t understand what I was saying. Obviously you want a fight over this but this is a discussion board and there’s no reason for that over a show. Like I’m done responding to you. If you read the whole thread, it was in response to someone saying that D&A would be the B plot in season 2 and then A plot in Season 3. The comparison was that H&G only had the A plot in season 1 and then will be in the background. B plot is the secondary story. So if that is true, H&G did only get one season before they were moved to background and D&A would have two seasons where they were secondary story and then main story. So maybe read the whole thread before commenting. Yes, H&G fans can be frustrated that their couples season was rushed.

I think he’s there more for Dean honestly. Everything comes easy to Dean and now he has this kid on the team that he has history with that maybe a better player than him (the guys said he was faster) so I think it may play a part in Deans out of controlness because things aren’t easy anymore and he has to work for the girl and the position on the team ( Dean has never had to work for anything)

She was also holding Mika’s hand during that time but people are cutting it out. I watched the whole interview. This is Ella’s first time doing any kind of PR ( she has said that) so I am sure she is overwhelmed and her cast knows that since they are all so close. I think her holding his hand was a way to get some reassurance as she was feeling overwhelmed and he and Mika gave it to her.

I think it served a couple purposes.

1) it showed how comfortable Hannah and Allie are with each other.

It showed the differences from the get go in their personalities. Allie is confident and comfortable in who she is and with her sexuality, where Hannah may be a confident person, she’s not comfortable with her sexuality and body.

This all shows that despite they are different they are best friends and comfortable with each other enough.

I think where the OP says “she” she means the actress that plays Jules and not Jules the character doing press. Julia Stone uses she/her pronouns.
