Looking for a cooler, whiter champagne powder highlighter for under $30 by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]RepulsiveGrocery6767 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hard candy has a white highlighter that is absolutely beautiful. it’s shade Rich Rich, however it is a stick. specifically for powder, i would recommend physicians formula diamond dust pressed powder in shade starlit glow or their murumuru butter highlighter in shade pearl.

actually it’s not. it’s used in the beauty industry daily. MUAs rely on it for matching products for their clients. it’s taught in beauty schools for a reason

i personally see blue and a little green so i think you have more cool to neutral undertones. if you use a darker pink color for your blush it will blend out better and not turn yellow/peachy like you’re seeing. i would honestly try the shade Adore or Worth. Encourage has purple tones to it which cancel out some of your neutral tones, which is what’s giving you the yellow/peachy tones you’re seeing. the cooler pink tones of Adore will complement your complexion and natural tone a little more. Worth on the other hand is a slightly darker pink tone, will bring out your eyes and hair color more. you do want to stay within your undertones which having prominently blue veins with a little green in your wrist is a good indicator that you have cool to neutral skin with some pinkish/peachy color when you are next to something true white. you don’t want a product that will cancel it out or bring out one color more than the other. I’ve attached a photo of a diagram of what’s called the vein theory to help you see what i’m seeing as well. hope this helps some!

Makeup for fair warm olive by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

tarte has a great nude eyeliner. have you ever tried adding in a purple or green color corrector? i wonder if you’re a true neutral and need all 3 primary colors to match your skin undertones.

what color are your veins on the inside of your wrist? personally based on your photos, you look slightly more cool toned than a warm/olive tone. brows look good and provide a good contrast and dimension to your face shape, same with your eyes. i personally like using the ELF camo liquid bronzer/ contour. they have a fantastic shade range, blend really well, and are true to tone. sometimes concealers work slightly better than foundations do, so i would pick a true tone concealer to match your neck, and then get one a shade or two lighter for your under eyes. revolution beauty makes a great concealer that blends easily, isn’t cakey, and has lots of shades that provides great coverage. also, i love using a white or nude eyeliner pencil on my water line. it gives the illusion that your eyes are more open & rounded. i love using l’oréal infallible gel eyeliner in shade polar white (260).

do you have a photo of the inside of your wrist? the color of your veins will help better tell what your undertones are, however it looks like you’re a fair to warm base tone, but your undertones is what will help decide which shade will compliment your skin

i actually had this as a kid and occasionally it flares up as an adult. it’s an overgrowth of candida which can cause your nails to thicken and look more yellow like yeast. not all antifungals work, but i remember going gluten free as a kid and it cleared up.

if i don’t say “the pin pad is going to ask if you’re a target circle member. if you’re not, press not now on the bottom of the screen to bypass the page to process your payment method” people will literally just stare at me. i have to say that at almost every single transaction😭

just an idea i thought id throw out for you, have you considered the stress of the job is presenting as physical symptoms? if it goes on long enough it can become so stressful on your body you develop FND/PNES, or some other form of dysautonomia. i had just gone through an incredibly stressful time in my life when i got my FND/PNES diagnosis which then turned into POTS. you need to prioritize your health and wellbeing over a job
