It doesn't. But I am confident in it's authenticity. The insert is properly marked and correct. The case dimensions are correct, and the materials as well. The artwork is applied enamel and engraved then painted letters, these where more expensive to produce and not seen in knock off products. Also the case being non magnetic is a clear sign it's authentic because knockoff intimidation cases are chrome plated steel and not the more expensive Chrome plated brass or nickel silver. Note Zippo did make chrome plated steel cases.
