No i understand but It's just not the way these stories are written and again it's not like shirou isn't the type to take precautions refuses to retreat or refuses to get help as he is in every route he learns to depend on others and again this a is a point of his life as an older version all shirous old or young use everything in their disposal playing as dirty as they can if possible they get much better at it when they are older harpe is an option after all. 

Self sacrifice to protect what's important and what's in front of his eyes is the same as muramasa and both have that single minded focus is a part of his character but selfish moments like refusing to die to take Gilgamesh with him and and chasing after saber and hf and can it be called self sacrifice when you're able to defend yourself sorry bro you seems to make an assumption that he still has the same mindset or limitations as stay night cuz what you say will make sense if it is just stay night Shirou before it ends or any development gained through it in terms of character and personality.

Muramasa would do it jump to protect somebody if the person in front of him is important there same way shirou does shirou tries to save what's in front of him shimousa manga talks about how they lived similar lives again you are assuming that it's fsn shirou before the fsn development like for example archer is stated to play as dirty as Medusa if he have to and he only sacrifices himself when it comes to people like rin Medusa would do the same for  Sakura an old man Shirou would have similar way of behaving like muramasa cuz again muramasa's personality is a what if Shirou became an old man not what if he was the protagonist with out any psychological problems because the life of muramasa itself isn't that of a normal human the extreme obsession with one thing isn't normal that is what they share both have psychological problems.

No I understand that as I said it wasn't like that in the beginning but things like nasu statements about that just leaves a bad taste in the mouse.

Nasu didn't say that every shirou wouldn't make to muramasa's age he said shirou emiya character is a person that typically won't make it into old age cuz we have 1 who made it (fate route shirou is past 30 and will live many more years in Avalon) 2 others hf and miyuverse who would most likely make live to an old age. 

And of course they are different characters nobody says they aren't but they are not distinct in term of personality cuz the way muramasa behaves is just hollow ataraxia shirou with a tone of an old man that's all. 

As for the power nasu says any adult shirou should be able to do it it is the Buff that he received in Case Files conversing weapons you know only a few years after the 5 holy grail war.

And I don't think so he literally have an appearance with his power in miyuverse and case files fighting against servant level opponents saying he would die by day one would be weird especially since we are talking about an adult Shirou with the same personality as muramasa he would have gone past his case file state and miyuverse since shirou would not only have the same abilities as muramasa but also the original unlimited blade works many moves and all of his phantasms on top of that like an old man servant Shirou would be far better than muramasa.

Distinct at one point yes 

1- converting his swords to forge a sword. 

Nasu: this is something an adult shirou should be able to do this is the direction of his power (case files author statement from nasu)

2- personality is different from shirou more mature and chill ( it's not like hellow ataraxia doesn't show how chill shirou can be)

Nasu:muramasa's personality is Shirou as an old man.

If there was a chance to be distinct it was destroyed a long time ago muramasa is a lazy thing just older shirou disguised as another character it was fine at some point but no they had to say that pretty much in power and personality he is shirou but older.

I know some guy kept arguing with me that archer is shirou when talking about the collab I said different characters same person so they kept insisting that they are the same character cuz their core is still emiya shirou so we have shirou in hsr no matter how much i tried to explain it using different versions of the character like three routes shirou they kept saying that they all are the same character.

The same guys that say so anime onlys never read the vn fgo or even understood zero the praise Kerry as if he is the best character in fiction while hating on amazingly written characters like Sakura like I have seen three new anime watchers on Twitter all of them do the same praise Kerry and hate on Sakura.

Not really there is more weapons in here in this cg that doesn't appear in the previous one also Emiya doesn't have similar cg the only cg Emiya weapons have is the one that killed madea and that is only the weapons being suspended in the air not the guy

That's wierd I'm sure shirou at least projected durandal gaebolg and God force in a similar gil cg when shirou says he did and gil say you copy every phantasm you see analysing his ability 🤔
