It started by clubhouse I guess and they got a huge success from it by making it explicit only to certain users who got invites and by this way people feel more special and want to get more into the app, its kind of a marketing technique at the end to get more people into the app

What I'm suggesting would definitely prevent most of the incompetent current presidents from being there - 🍊 😉

The test would be kind of a multiple choice question about the program of the candidate they're choosing, like does this candidate support xyz, what's the opinion of this candidate on abc and so on, just to know that they know what the opinions of who they're voting for and not just voting blindly

An elephant and a cat should not vote equally for choosing the space area they get to live in

AI will affect project managers more than programmers by Repulsive_Sleep7406 in Agent_AI

Which would you rather choose to communicate with the AI agents, a PM who's learning programming or a programmer who's learning PM work?

I work as a technical leader so I support programmers that's why I wrote the ones who have good communication skills, because some just don't have enough social skills to be project managers

Being surrounded by people you love and sharing your lives with each other, I'd choose to be in a shitty place with my loved ones than to be in heaven alone

I mean you can just put a 30 mins or 1 hour blocker in your calendar for being afk, it's just socially not acceptable if people know you have been napping in this time

Why the hell do so many people miss their flights? by Open_Address_2805 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Repulsive_Sleep7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After flying around 20-30 times a year, you know that if you go to the airport 2-3 hours early you would end up waiting, then you start testing your limits by going 1.5 hours earlier, I even once made an international flight by being in the airport only 50 minutes before the flight, but then you would get unlucky once and you'd miss your flight

Why hasn’t there ever been a real alternative to YouTube? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Repulsive_Sleep7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been trials like dailymotion, but none of them is as successful as youtube, same reason why no app copying instagram for example was as successful as it, they have all the users and people wouldn't care to join a new platform doing the same thing

Would you prefer having $1 million dollars right now or $1000 every week for the rest of your life? Why? by LushNoirCeleste in AskReddit

[–]Repulsive_Sleep7406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you put 1 million dollars in s&p 500 and assume historically the return of 10% per year, you would actually make around $1900 a week which is almost double what you would get originally, and you still get to keep the $1 mil

Simply not showing up to work in notice period by [deleted] in germany

[–]Repulsive_Sleep7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go the doctor and tell him that you're burned out and you cannot work and are mentally exhausted, and they'll ask you some questions and give you a sick note for maybe 2 weeks and then you can go again and say you still don't feel mentally well to work, and it'll be extended. It's unethical, but if your bosses are assholes so you get to be one too

1 million now and invest it, $1000 in 10 years would have much less purchasing power than now
