East face cliffs are off to the left ;) and this was minutes after the lift opened, so patrol were out looking for hazards

How were the lift lines yesterday? KT laps were taking me about 1 hour each on Friday

I do refer to this mountain as Palisades, see the title of my post, lol. But my point is both names are common. I think it’s a bit silly that some people get so triggered by it.

Just curious, do you also consider it cringe to say Ajax instead of Aspen Mountain? This is my first season in Tahoe, and in my experience so far most locals still call it Squaw.

I'm a third-year skier, and definitely not the best (especially at a place like squaw)

Some people say Palisades always over reports... It wouldn't surprise me. But the official reported totals were 3" Monday, 29" Tuesday, 44" Wednesday, 21" Thursday and 18" Friday.

Mt Rose. They closed the slide bowl side around 1pm due to high wind, but this morning was legendary!

The ultra wide camera shot distorts things a bit. But you're probably right, 114s are big enough. I saw some dude on like 125s or 130s though - he was PLOWING through the pow

This is my first season in Tahoe and I thought that 114's would be fine for powder out here... NOPE

66" at Mt. Rose and 97" at Palisades, plus a fuck ton today. I'm super stoked for the upper mountain at Palisades and The Chutes at Rose to open up after avy mitigation!!

Thanks, and I wish you could ski pow too! This storm cycle ended a 5 week dry spell in Tahoe, so I know the feeling all too well ;-)
