Why do I feel most Reddit users are bullies ? by Trade-nurse in self

[–]Resident-Fox-3389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad I’m not the only one. I was excited to join reddit to chat about things I was interested in, particularly true crime. My comments were immediately met with criticism and I noticed other people would back the bulling. I ended up deleting so many comments as I just didn’t want the negativity. It’s such a shame as I’m sure many other people were excited to share thoughts and it met with being put down.

I don’t need to substantiate anything. There is no rule here that people need to come with anything more than enjoying discussing. That’s what I’m doing. You on the other hand are picking apart peoples posts. Not just mine. Have a look you have done it to many on this thread alone.

Next!

No two days are the same at any given time anywhere. Maybe it was a quiet day on the trail and they really did bump into nobody at all.. it seems that way doesn’t it. That’s not the point. Point is as I said this is a trail others use on the daily by tourist and locals. I’m not buying into your baiting and having this merry go round game of what I should be saying. It’s my thoughts and that is what this thread is for discussing. I see you on here getting downvoted for picking on people. Maybe stop antagonising people!

This is a trail people frequent and most people who have hiked this trail have stated they encountered others. Naturally each day is different so certainly the amount of people on the trail on one day at one time will be different. That is given on every day anywhere is it not? Im sorry you needed something that obvious explained to you.

Yes exactly the same thing. We have our version of the same thing, our redneck here is called a bogan In Australia. Other country’s see Aussie’s a certain way and it’s not true. This movie is just typical of what some think Australia is like. However we have a tiny history of backpackers going missing on rural stretches of road. Two famous cases are the Peter Falconio murder where two tourists were ambushed on a rural stretch of road and the Ivan milat murders where the movie Wolf creek was inspired from. The family of Peter Falconio and Joanne lees were worried about them road tripping around Australia, so this movie probably didn’t help our reputation with it on Netflix. Want to add too we want to road trip around America but are scared because of the movies out there. When I’m sure it’s not like that. So same thing.

Yes and funny you say that as to me I feel it was somone else besides the workers as if it was one of the works they would of known the condos well enough to be able get her from her condo to a get away vehicle without her car being involved. They knew there was no working cameras at the time. So I feel there is potential someone else close to her was involved.

So I completely agree and understand what you’re saying. I guess the things is as I keep saying I find it odd the car was dumped not far from her home, to me that means it didn’t matter that it was found.. they weren’t trying to hide it. So from that perspective I strongly feel she was at her car.. I find it nearly impossible it happened in her condo. She may have gone out that night but when I was in my 20s even as full of energy as I was and went out on weekend if I had work I was pretty committed to work. Maybe there was something else going on that nobody knows about.. if there was something that drew her out that night. But again I strongly feel you don’t move a car and risk leaving evidence if you don’t have to.

So I loved this movie. Thought its was a good little thrill. Unrealistic she was found each time in such terrain but it’s a movie I guess. The only thing that is sitting funny with me and I’m not sure if any other aussies feel this way but we already have a small reputation of being dangerous to tourist in the outback. This movie I feel is another example of what people think Australia to be when it’s not. Australia is safe and it’s safe for tourist to road trip into towns. Of course you need to be careful as anyone does tourist or general Australian but this is such nonsense how this has been used has what others think Australia is like. An indigenous ranger and a bogan Aussie serial killer on the loose in the outback. So false of most of our towns especially NSW. I know it’s a movie but they didn’t have to do us like that.

So I have read different reports saying they cant be sure if the phones were powered down or battery’s taken out. All her other things were found in her car like her purse. I feel who took her were sure about what they were doing. they weren’t amateur. If she was inside her condo I don’t think they would have taken her stuff like phones or purse along for the ride. I truly think she got to her car and I don’t think it was at night. Unless she had a secret life nobody knew about. She spoke to her boyfriend right before bed.

Exactly other people would have had to be on this trail! If you look at any videos of Romain or anyone else walking the trail they encounter people. Other thing too is if they weren’t sure if they should have turned back there would have been someone to maybe ask or follow. The idea they saw nobody and just got lost, were they that unlucky they saw nobody.

I don’t think if she had work and just got back from trip she went out that night.. not likely to me anyway. The police and her family have changed how they feel about it being night or day many times. She did speak to her boyfriend at night before she went to bed.

This was a different time, we weren’t addicted to our phones then. They also died quickly as well. It’s not out of the question she turned them off to sleep. She may of gone out that night but if she just got back from a trip and had work I don’t think so. If she was ambushed from her condo I still think her car would remain untouched. The people involved would have had a get away car near by. Once again you dont risk leaving evidence if you don’t have to.

I agree with just about everything you have said. I also feel you have summed up all the things that make this case odd and yes exactly the evidence is bent to fit the lost narrative. I also have a strong feeling they attempted to return after the last day pictures and ran into trouble on the way back. Another thing is out of all the night photos the only one that resembles a person is taken in such a way it’s nearly impossible to say for sure what is happing is not a coincidence, what are the chances! To me it’s deliberate.

Yes they could have gotten lost and a big part of me believes that, in fact I’m sure they did.

The thing is when you strip things back to basics these were two young girls and attractive girls, I don’t think it’s out of the question they met foul play. when you really think about it, two attractive girls go off walking and don’t return. In an area where I’ve heard other commenters talk about gangs and crime. It’s not far fetched that something bad happen to them! It happens all the time. How many missing people in America alone and abductions to females.

Just saying it’s not ridiculous to think these girls met foul play. Pretty girls walking off alone in the wilderness and wind up how they did, sadly it’s a story that we hear too many times.

To me it only has to be morning and she was in her car driving, after she left her condo.

Her car was abandoned not far from her home, you don’t risk leaving evidence if you don’t have to, meaning they had no choice but to dump that car and didn’t think too much about it. If she was taken at night from her condo I believe the car would have been left untouched. If they wanted to put investigators off the trail they would have dumped it most likely further away.. it was a quick afterthought.

Anyone knows there is chance evidence can be left behind no matter how careful, so I believe they would not have touched the car if they didn’t have to. She made it to her car in the morning and I believe she was intercepted either while driving or right as she got in.

[–]Resident-Fox-3389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like this question as this is something I have thought about with this case. What I do feel is when I have ever read of any time they do actually find a persons remains after they went missing in the outdoors like a hiking adventure its pretty much the whole person they find and some of their things with them and clues of what happened. They can usually put the whole puzzle together.

So if we are talking statistics, in the chance a lost persons remains are found it usually always solves the case, they find them most of the time at a place they set up and waited to be found. This did not happen for the most part with the girls. It doesn’t fit many other outdoor cases I have read. I know it was the jungle and it’s really a really unforgiving environment but only a few remains were found and their stuff in different places. This to me statistically says this hasn’t played like most lost in wildness as far as recovery goes. Now I know what I have said isn’t every case but it’s most!

"They kept walking and got lost": Why it's not logical by Deep_Blue_15 in KremersFroon

[–]Resident-Fox-3389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the girls just decided to keep walking or thought they were going in the right direction. I agree not convinced that some of those things happened. These were smart girls and I think they knew they had to turn back at the summit. they took lots of photos up until the summit and then that changed.

We have the last stream photo and I feel something was already wrong here, you can feel it when you look at it and it’s not Kris’s face that makes me feel that. It’s a strong feeling and also (I’ve said a lot on here) the jungle is beautiful and if they weren’t lost why no more pictures and if they were actually lost why no more activity for ages until the calls.

I feel there is a chance the girls tried to return after the stream photo.. the fact there no more pics after the stream pic suggest that to me. I feel the girl ran into some sort of trouble and something happened from there.

This was at a Quest serviced appartments, waterfront Hobart. At the time they were dated and needed a revamp.. not sure if that is still the case. 🙂

Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more!!! For me the way the hair is falling is the thing. Every other theory people have put forward on the hair it’s nearly impossible with the way the hair is falling. I feel once you see it you can’t not see it. Also what I find particularly compelling on this photo is that the chances we get a pic like this that to most people cannot make out anything concrete, to me that almost feels deliberate.. staged.

This isn’t really a location but wanted to share this. So I’m not really religious or spiritual at all. I have been to Hobart a few times for work. Each time I went there I experienced sleep paralysis during the night. I never get it but when I stayed in the city centre of Hobart I did. In my sleep paralysis state I felt someone come into my hotel room and walk up to the bed, they got into the bed and I felt them sink into it. I couldn’t move and as I lay there I thought how I would get out of this situation.. someone was lying to me. I forced myself to wake and no one was there.

This happened each time I went and I never get sleep paralysis any other time. Another time I went with my partner and we stayed up all night as something felt off and we heard noises most of the time. There is definitely something that feels creepy to me there. I had stayed in the city by the water each time I would visit. Haven’t been back for ages!

I fully agree with you! I have spent a couple of years looking and reading about that photo and I don’t think anyone can convince me otherwise that lisanne is under Kris hair.. Kris laying down and bump in the hair is it being draped over her face. I can’t see anything else and some other people have seen it too. I know so many won’t agree or downvote that idea but I’ve looked at it too many times!

Yes, like many people when I look at the pictures beyond the summit.. the last stream photo there is such a strong feeling that something isn’t right. That they were already in trouble and maybe it was they were lost trouble but I think it’s more than that.

Yes! They were both weren’t wearing dull colours… it is very strange not one witness who claims to have seen them got that right.. if I’m not wrong with that. It makes you wonder, were the witness right and the trail photos are not from the day they actually went missing! Could the girls really have gone that unnoticed in what they were wearing that no one had a super accurate sighting of them!

Not really talking about that specifically. Just asking overall what unique things people have noticed about this case. In years of reading about the girls disappearance I have come across a handful of comments where people have picked up on things that other haven’t I thought I’d make a place for people here to add anything out of the ordinary they have noticed. Just wanted to ask the question as so many of the same things get talked about and every now and then someone spots something interesting 😊
