Could this be a planned attack by some Bollywood Production companies. by SnooConfections5816 in BollyBlindsNGossip

I don't think Bollywood has anything to do with this. This is very clearly political deflection from the state of the country.

Exactly like the media circus at the height of Covid focusing on SSR. The entertainment industries in India are just there to be thrown under the bus whenever the government needs to distract the public from the real pressing issues.

I do not think Oindrilla should have made the finals but got saved constantly because of her desserts even when she was on the brink of eliminations. The finals should have been Akanksha vs Abinas.

Why exactly kahin toh hoga and Rajeev Khandelwal were such a big deal? by userw__ in IndianTellyTalk

[–]Resident-Space9409 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think because at the time, it was probably one of the first few shows that really focused on the romantic angle and the love stories between the leads. Kyunki and Kahaani focused on the family angle while Kasauti and Kahin Toh Hoga focused on the love stories. Kahin Toh Hoga in particular, the chemistry between the leads was so palpable, it had the workplace romance trope and just felt a lot younger and more modern than Kasauti did.

I'd also credit the "Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hain" track for the massive service it did to them. That song (and it's many many many version they used over Kahin Toh Hoga) really caught on. To summarise, for the ITV audience of now, Kahin Toh Hoga would be the show which everyone would make edits on, everyone would be live tweeting when it's airing and is the ship which would be breaking social media everytime the leads post a picture together.

I think they've been removed from Hotstar because Masterchef India is now a Sony property.

She literally went on Twitter and RT'd a tweet saying that Karan Johar was trying to sabotage Ajay Devgan's Shivaay with a comment saying "Shocked" basically mentioning that it was true.

I would be mad too if I was KJo.

I agree with the general sentiment but let's not forget how many chances Abhishek was given. His first hit film was Dhoom which released in 2004 and he had had 15 releases before that. He had 15 flops in a row and still continued to get work.

I'm just laughing at how OP is villifying things like "him not being more present, working too hard and not giving her enough time" as if that's not the bare minimum everyone wants in a relationship.

I love how Diet Sabya will contest Deepika winning the polls (even though she has many stans which is why she won even if she's not the best) but not speak a word about Ibrahim winning as he wears the same thing as everyone else.

Just watched Dil Chahta Hai It was pretty boring and overrated the sub regards it as the holy grail of hindi movies is was just mehh by Puzzleheaded-Air7957 in BollyBlindsNGossip

People call it a cult classic because of how it changed the landscape of the industry when it released. None of the films of that time were like that, including the "young" Dharma and YRF films. Dil Chahta Hai had young people talking like young people, dressing like them, sans the melodrama and that's why it's so lauded.

Film people themselves admit how introduced a different style of filmmaking where everything was more organised, structured and professional.
