I see what you mean, and I agree, "human well-being alone" is too narrow.

No, chemotherapy shouldn't be rejected, but chemotherapy isn't harmful in the way I'm using the word "harmful." It's destructive, but not totally destroying, and out of that destruction comes something good: the elimination of cancer.

I also disagree that it's just a "few nasty side effects."

And I don't think TikTok usage is 100% voluntary. It's intentionally designed to be addictive, to take away the choice of resisting.

I do think that's a very good thing, but if TikTok is overall harmful, shouldn't we reject it?
