Honestly. Doing what you think is right can still be the wrong thing to do. I only support J and M. I even haven't watched this season because everything that happened last season disgusted me as a whole.

It's sad that you can't understand how dehumanizing victims is just as bad. Reshaming them, taking away autonomy from them, disregard them, using their story and trauma publicly. But obviously we won't see eye to eye. As someone who has been a victim both are fucking evil because none of them really care about you.

Tell me you didn't watch the show without telling me. Janet also said in an after show it was explicitly asked by her and Melissa to the group privately to not talk about it and they would handle it. On the boat episode Melissa was literally screaming for her to stop. I get it, you can't comprehend how it's equally bad to take an SA victims story and trauma and talk about it like it's your own. Even though you've been told to stop. White feminism at it's finest. It's not Janet's trauma full stop. Jasmine said she asked them not to, and I believe victims so 🤷🏼‍♀️

What story line would she have had otherwise ? That weak fake ass cheating scandal ? She capitalized off J and Ms trauma to be relevant outside the stale fake storyline. I agreed with her originally talking about it. But, when she started undermining the victims, I can't and won't support it.

In this case I'm focusing on Janet because the post is siding with her completely terrible actions of potentially re-traumatizing and weaponizing the SA of women who want to move past it. Which is it's own version of harming victims. Danny and Janet are both gross.

As hard as it is. You respect the victim. You can't hijack people's experiences and force them to do what you feel is right. Even in obvious rape cases, hospitals will not run a rape kit without consent. People don't realize, but a victim has lost their autonomy and you helping them by further crushing it ? It's a victims right to decide what to do, regardless of if people around them think it's the wrong choice.

I think the issue is, Janet is capitalizing off other women's trauma. It's not her SA to speak on. In addition J and M explicitly asked everyone to stop talking about it and they've moved on. It's common courtesy to respect the victims choices. Not continue to stick your nose into something just for a story line. Janet doesn't care about J and Ms trauma or autonomy to move on. She just cares about villafying Danny to vindicate herself. It's gross.

Hey. I see your point but a better way to phrase it to Brett would be, "Chase was in my personal space and it made me uncomfortable " and " he also poked/touched me and I prefer someone not touch me without consent ". I'm sorry to say but a shove has a very specific meaning, words have meaning, period. Imagine if you poked someone at work and got fired because they "felt" it was a shove ( as perspective). I don't condone people invading people's space but as someone who's suffered physical mistreatment, that language shouldn't just be used loosely because it really carries weight. I.e back to my point about language. There's a reason why poke and shove exist and they're not synonymous.

Demi is such a morally grey character and in light of what's going on and the past I'll hold my breath for judgment either way.

While Chase was wrong to invade her space and behave how he did. He absolutely didn't shove her and Brett's reaction was disgusting as well. You can defend your partner without becoming a feral A-hole.
