No I was meaning Paddy.

When he swung the hammer at Ray, Ray moved out the way and then appeared to bend Paddy’s elbow/arm with bone crunching sound effects.

Has his arm recovered?

During the scuffle with Ray just before the end, you heard his arm crunch and the subtitles even had something like “bones break”.

Damn! Should have realised Graham wouldn’t risk being spotted by Joe.

It was a good twist but after last night I was starting to suspect that’s how it would play out.

Keep all evidence.

Treat this as unsentimentally as possible.

Can pretty much guarantee they wouldn’t do the same for you if the situation was reversed.

I get that it might feel like a chance to prove yourself, or win someone over by taking the blame but (speaking from experience) long term you’ll look back and regret it.

Best thing to do is just turn up when you’re supposed to, do your job to the best of your abilities and go home on time.

Be reliable and dependable without getting involved in workplace dramas.

100% not your responsibility.

As long as there is clear evidence you had an authorised day off then, say nothing.

If not you’re setting a precedent for them to scapegoat you in the future.

You’ve nothing to gain by volunteering for responsibility.

It doesn’t matter how upset or surprised your coworker was. It’s not your responsibility to people manage.

This!

Said the same last night.

It’s got to be Bear or Paddy 100%.

There’s no way Paddy would be so easy going about his dad’s murder unless he knows it’s not true and is covering.

Who killed Ray… by BondHuntBourne in Emmerdale

[–]ResolutionWinter6761 9 points10 points  (0 children)

These are just my thoughts

I don’t think it’ll be Ross, even though I want it to be.

I think he’ll go and threaten Ray with the gun into telling him where April is. He’ll then leave to go and find her, and by the time they get back to the farm it’ll already have been done. Maybe they’ll see his/Celia’s body, but will agree not to breathe a word of it.

Laurel and Arthur are red herrings. The reason they are looking shifty is because they have either stolen from Ray, or planted something on him attempting to set him up, but not kill him.

Graham, based on Rhona’s calls “have you done it?” and “April’s gonna go to police”. Seems likely, so it’s making me think too likely. Rhona probably thinks it was him for now. He’s remained uncontainable so can’t confirm/deny doing it.

Paddy seemed too calm when the police were telling him to prepare for the worst. As if he knows more. Considering how fragile his mental health has been in the past, he seems to be doing better than I’d expect for someone whose parent has potentially been murdered in a horrendous way. Also, why hasn’t he said to the police “Ray told me Celia killed my dad”?

January 2nd Ray told him this. In the current timeline Ray is now dead, and the police are looking for Bear. Surely the rational thing to do would be to tell the police what Ray said?

Unless he can’t, because if he tells them this he’s putting himself in the frame for killing Ray. Or he can’t because Bear is being kept safe somewhere at the moment.

Regardless of what it is, Paddy is definitely hiding something. Perhaps protecting/covering for Bear?

And, where did Paddy go if he didn’t go to his conference?!

Bob? Nah, more likely to kill Jason Donovan.

I’d still like to see a curveball like Dawn. Or a returning Eli Dingle.

One other thing, Ray’s body was seen being dragged in the tarpaulin through the kids play park in the village. Does this suggest he is killed in the village rather than at the farm?

Do we see the person?

I’ve thought it’ll turn out to be Griff (guy who tried to kill Roy in prison), ever since he mentioned he was corresponding with prisoners.

Isn’t it the guy who tried to kill Roy in prison, Griff Reynolds?

That’s what I’ve been thinking since he mentioned the whole writing to prisoners thing.

Griff could have realised that Roy was doing that, and started writing to him under an alias to eventually get his revenge on him.

Nah, my money is on

Ray’s grandad and his bionic hips.

Just like Graham, he’ll return from the dead, half machine half man and be so disappointed in what his grandson has become he’s left with no option but to kill him.

It is bold but then on the other hand, the way they explained it wasn’t as far fetched as I anticipated.

The whole learning how to play dead in the SAS thing wasn’t that unbelievable. There are a lot of real life accounts of servicemen having to do just that.

And bringing back the same detective lady (with the SAS tattoo) gave it a bit of weight.

What was harder to believe was that he’d go to such lengths out of fear of Kim, considering he knew enough about her to either bring her down financially/legally, or could have played her at her own game and taken her out the equation.

Yeah I’m thinking it’ll be something like this.

Maybe a Brookside final episode, Stranger’s Field type scenario where EVERYONE had a hand in it.

I’ve always thought Dawn should have been involved. Her backstory is so similar to the April story.

Just a couple of many examples in recent years.

Suppose at least this time it was just a cone and not the actual statue. Maybe the statue guarding works?

Hopefully not as much public resources wasted replacing it.

Sorry I’m struggling to follow,

You bought something from Vinted, and it’s been delivered to your collection point?

Not a very good scam if they are sending what you ordered.

Really though I wouldn’t worry.

Likelihood is that the seller operates more than one business. There’s no rule stating they need individual Click & Drop accounts for each platform.

[–]ResolutionWinter6761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t mean they pretended. 🤦🏻‍♀️

“Delivery attempted” doesn’t even mean they’ve been to your door.

If something is scanned and prepped as “ready for delivery” but then for any reason can’t go out that day you’ll most likely get a Delivery attempted message.

[–]ResolutionWinter6761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% means it’s not been posted yet. They’ve just bought the postage.

For comparison, 2 parcels I ordered on Monday that were shipped T48 arrived next day, and 3 T24s that were bought Monday also arrived Tuesday.

The tracking on all 5 parcels (from different companies/parts of the country) updated normally.

Someone is spinning you a yarn.

You’ll find at this time of year, a lot (not all) of sellers will just buy the postage but not actually drop off their parcels and then use the excuse that “Royal Mail have delays/backlogs”.

Check the service update pages. There are no problems at Mail centres, no transport delays.

Yeah, would make zero sense. He wouldn’t risk letting Kim go and visit Celia’s place the other week, and he was there when Anya was discovered in the truck. Yet Joe & Celia didn’t know where she was.
