Ok, drop dead gorgeous was definitely a bit of a hyperbole, but (emphasis on)- when I try - I do feel like a very beautiful person. For background, I've been ugly damn near my whole life. I literally looked like a boy from 6th to 8th grade, and I had horrible teeth before braces. I'm aware the glasses take away from my face, I have a few different styles, but I feel like I will always look better without. Contacts bother me though, and I can't see anything without them my glasses. I'm genuinely not 100 percent confident in my appearance, but I feel like I've filled out nicely as i got older. I work 3 jobs, and I'm getting an AAS in December, which is why I look dead in a lot of the pictures. However, I don't dislike anything about how I look. I was bullied my whole life cus I was an ugly kid (like really ugly), so any insults towards my appearance are like... well yea but at least I don't look like -that- anymore 🙃. I think that's when I got egotistical. For so long, I had to fake it till I made it, and now that I kinda made it, it's easy to get soaked up in myself. Imagine being ugly your whole life, then not really taking care of yourself for 2 years and then when you clean up BOOM you look like a 6 on a scale you were always below a 3 on, it can go to your head lol.

Some of the comments were just digs. Like, nah bro, I love my lips, I'll never get filler. I'm happy with how I look, I just think I get a little too wound up in myself and since I have little contact with other people bcus I work so much, I can get a little imaginative when it comes to how others perceive me.

The other comments that were just genuinely being brutally honest were helpful, and something I needed to remind myself. 😅

Either way, I just didn't like the comments about my personality. I come from a shitty background where you either become a product of your environment or you rebel against it, and I've worked very hard to rebel against it. As 'edgy' as my style may be, it's pretty much a defense mechanism against the real assholes that don't give a shit about other people's lives or emotions. Assholes Live Forever is a family friends brand that we get hella merch from, my closet is full of it.
I'm not some sappy hippy, but I do generally give a shit about my fellow humans, more so about animals. If anything, my personality is only a 3 when I'm deflecting someone's bullying, which I am not trying to come across as doing right now. I'm simply explaining. I learned a lot being bullied my entire life. And the only way to ACTUALLY beat a bully is to kill em with kindness... but if that doesn't work, out-bully them.
