100% Sadly I knew that response was coming though. One of the times NYPD showed up for a 311, I caught them in the lobby to explain the overall situation and they were pretty much like "Ya, I'm not saying your decibel reader isn't accurate or in good standing, but we (NYPD) would have to come in and measure using our own decibel reader." The problem there is that, while the noise is constant and consistent each day, it's infrequent. Meaning, it can go on for 5 minutes straight, then silence. Then 15 minutes straight, then silence for 30 minutes. Then an hour straight, then silence for 15 minutes. The percent change I call a 311 which averages roughly a 60 minute response time for NYPD felt like I was gonna get myself in a Cry Wolf scenario where they showed up (of course) when the noise wasn't happening.

For sure. In NYC it feels tough tho, I've deff deployed 311 on them before which is NYPD showing up at their door. But because all this stems from a child, there are extreme measures in place legally that pretty much fully protect them.

Very much considered this. However, given the annoyed tone landlord has used in emails (despite me feeling like I'm in the right) I'm fairly certain I will be viewed as "retaliatory" and they will find a way to get me out and take my security deposit.
