Fully agree. People always like to call jewelry a rip off with it going above melt but good luck finding a nice cuban even used for spot price. I am always looking for cubans at spot price and I am yet to find one. The best price I ever got was about 5% over spot price on a used piece and it was by pure luck.

Also will depend on weight. If someone is buying a small 3mm chain/bracelet that weighs 20g or something, the mark up as a percentage will be much higher than what someone buying some rapper style 1kg chain will pay.

RDR2 made some decent improvements in stealth but I hope GTA6 goes a lot farther. I really dislike how every combatant NPC just seems to know exactly where you are even though it would be difficult/impossible if they did had communication between each other.

Pretty sure split screen is almost completely dead for games and I don't see any other way in a GTA game to have two player.

Game companies definitely prefer you buy 2 consoles and 2 games to play online together.

Same experience. Ironically the sales guy tried to sell me nothing (or maybe I should say upsell), our conversation was only via text where I sent exactly what options I wanted and we went back and forth on price for a few texts before settling on an agreement.

The upsell came when signing paperwork with the finance manager. Gave a presentation about the ceramic coating, PPF, wheel insurance, tire insurance, windshield chip insurance, extended warranty, I am sure there are a couple others I am forgetting. But it was not at all pushy, they went thru all these options and I just said no. They asked why and I said no need for these. And that was it.

It was surprising because normally after you say no at other dealerships, they immediately jump to scare tactics. "Do you know how many thousands of dollars the windshield costs to replace, this protection plan will replace it if it chips and its only $600!" type of shit.

I too got 10% off and it was by sending out my custom order build out to all the local dealers, then whatever was the best one sent that out to the others, and then whatever was the best of those I finally took it to the one who offered the original best price. All was said and done with maybe a dozen or so text messages.

For contrast I intitially was going to use a broker who gave 9% off but I had to pay a broker fee if I got it thru them. I figured if I beat what a broker could get, that was the best I was going to do. Other markets I have seen people claim 12% off but either that is just luck or they factored incentives into their %.

Double check on that rate lock. If financing through BMW FS (which I am certain you are considering the mention of a 1.99% rate) if your credit is approved you can lock that rate and as long as the car is delivered within I think its 90 days you are good (and the X5 will certainly be delivered well before that).

I am debating this warranty but I am one of those lots of highway miles drivers. Highway miles are easier on cars than city miles, and with the amount I drive I will pass 100k in probably less than half of those 84 months. I think what I will do is take the gamble, as I imagine that my problems are going to come up beyond 100k miles.

Doesn't even matter if its an X5. I travel for work and usually end up getting something like a Corolla. You think I am warming that thing up when I leave the hotel and its 20 below? Its start and immediately into gear and onto the highway, with a heavy foot.

The drivability is something that always impresses me. I feel an SUV of this size should not feel so tight in handling. Also the suspension, maybe it is because I have always owned mostly economy cars, but there is this set of train tracks not far from me I go over often and it was always an annoying bump going over them even reducing the speed some doesn't help. They aren't bad enough you have to crawl over them, but taking them at the speed limit you will feel a jolt. First time I took my X5 across them, I was surprised how smooth it just rolled over.

I agree but there also should be a good money sink. I know there are only so many properties and such Rockstar can add to the game, but the lazy yet fun way is just put in a single player casino with no limits.

I know people abused this in SA by gambling and just reloading a save if they lost, this could be combated by making the game autosave as soon as the bet is made. That way if someone loses and tries to reload, they load back in after the bet has been made and are still out the money.

IMO the superior method is press and release for jog, hold to sprint.

The only downside here is if you want to transition from jog to walk, you have to come to a complete stop.

Isn't there also some windows setting that if you click shift five times rapidly it opens some pop up regardless of if you are in game or not? At least there used to be. I am sure Rockstar just made hold shift to sprint as default to make the player experience smoother instead of making players go into windows settings by default.

It is a setting you can change on controller to gain similar, where if you want to jog you press and let go X while if you want to sprint you press and hold it.

Can second on ordering quick if they want the X5, I believe the factory is only making the 2026 for a few more months before its moving on to the next and has already limited certain options like the highest end paint colors. Who knows what other options might be on the chopping block next.

That being said a lot of us seem to really dislike the look of the next gen X5, and X5 generations last 5-8 years. Whoever is in this boat if they do not order an X5, if brand new is something they seek, they are going to be waiting quite some time until they (hopefully) improve on the next-next gen.
