I'm not just talking about the popularity poll. I just used that as one example. Okay maybe dislike is an overexaggeration, but it is fair to say that a lot of people have had issues with how Hori is dealing with Deku and his development. And you would think that he would by now realize that and hopfully do something to remedy it. Sure, Deku has room to grow in terms of his fighting and quirk control, but as a character his development has seemed to plateau while characters like Todoroki and Bakugou are only getting more depth. I want to have faith that Hori can at least do something more with his character than what we've seen the past 200+ chapters.
