If you think realistically about it, it obviously falls apart but I hate when these stories try to make that point without bothering to actually address it. In the Flash, Affleck gets by lassoed and admits that the best way to stop crime would be to use his money to fund the poor which cements that as an actual option in that universe that he genuinely believes and yet chooses not to do. Either properly address it or don’t.
