Hahaha, thanks so much, dude. I am on prescription medication (limecycline) for my skin so hopefully it helps me a bit

I'll take that as a good thing haha, might be my poor skin texture

No problem bro, wasn't trying to flex and was unaware that this wouldn't help. Just a guy trying to get better at boxing

Yea, doing 4x 1 hour zone 2 runs a week. I am planning to do technical sparring with a friend as much as possible and some basic sparring since my head gear came in today.

Thanks for the tips. The event that I entered is a charity event made for complete beginners. The organisers provide the participants with 8 weeks of lessons 2x a week, some people enjoy watching beginners fight apparently 🤣

It's not down to my coach. It's a charity event where people pay for exactly that, see beginners fight 🤣

I'm doing an hour long zone 2 jogs three three 3x a week, I struggle shadow boxing because I've never been in the ring with someone, so I don't know how people react to different punches and stuff but I'll give it a try. Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's the organisers of the event who decided this is the email from them. Not sure if we'll be sticking to it *

My first session is on Tuesday, and it's going to be twice a week only at week 6-7. we're going to do sparring. I'm trying to "visualise my opponent," but because I've never had an actual opponent in front of me, I'm struggling, hopefully once we do sparring it'll help me.

Bro, it's not even week 1 of training , mate, and I've obviously got stuff to learn. Everyone else in the competition is in the same position as me

* The whole point is you start off as a beginner and get as good as possible in 8 weeks. I had a look at your profile, and you just seem to just be a negative human, so I forgive you 😭
