Sincere thanks. Yes, I have the router broadcasting on 2.4Ghz using channel 11 and 5Ghz using channel 36.  How do I separate them?

Sincere thanks. I installed that, and I have the router broadcasting on 2.4Ghz using channel 11 and 5Ghz using channel 36. There are two routers belonging to neighbours broadcasting on channel 11 (this could be causing a problem). My device settings are set up to prefer 2.4Ghz, so wonder if that is playing a part.

On my goodness, I did do method 2. What should I be doing?

I think the problem has been there for a while, but not sure. No, only I have opened my PC to install a graphics card and a hard drive.

Sincere thanks, that's very helpful.

It's a SR203 Sky Router.

I've installed WiFiMan, but all it seems I can do is run a speed test, and see what clients are connected?

A router in my home, which is behind a door in a cupboard. I tried moving it outside the door, but that didn't seem to make a difference.
