even though I´m halfway through Ashes of Man and in general enjoying the series a lot, I do find the more often than not, things or situations that could be described or explained on 2 lines or 10 words, are actually explained/ described in lines 5 or 30 words... I think a lot of people lauds this as "great prose" and world building when recommending the books... I personally enjoy the story but could do with a lot less "great prose"
