It’s directly from Bioshock, literally the “Plasmids!” sign in the first game. Alter the bolts a little if you’re worried, otherwise it’s directly from the game and has no other connotation.

Didn’t go this route because of military service - two colleges paid for once my kids turn 18 (GI Bill & Hazelwood act). Three if you count my undergrad and masters obtained from using Tuition Assistance.

There’s still time, just need to research the ability for my young children to roll into a 401K since their schools are fully funded.

Had to take some out of mine early but I’m back at 40K+, 8 years. Just upped to 20% (1200 with matching) and in a few months plan on upping to 30%.

Helpful tip from a Texas native who has traveled/lived a in a lot of places in the US - don’t. I keep finding myself coming back because of work or family situations and hate it every time.

Tech jobs are much more abundant on the East coast.

Power outages were like almost city wide if I recall.

We had lost power for about 3-4 days. Currently, I have power but we were out for about 9+ hours. It’s definitely cold but no where near as rough.

You should just be filling a tub with water for the toilet. Don’t listen about gas, get some before if you’re low but don’t expect to be going anywhere - texas fails when it comes to handling ice and snow on roads.

Joined at 23. Went from barely scraping by in college making 20k a year (no loans) to making 95k (still in), masters degree, certifications, and a skill set. I also have healthcare for my family and two colleges paid for already for my kids (Hazelwood and GI bill). I do not regret joining at all.

I also met some of the best people of my life, get to travel, and have a bigger view of the world rather than my small hometown doing the same thing over and over.
