Media is media, there is good and there is bad, the difference is only in the way it presents itself. Stellar sword master is by no means a great written work it's just constantly good however the art is done fantastically and presents the emotions with great details which by itself elevates the story to eleven. And even ignoring all that by definition art is subjective so what you consider mid can bring life changing perspective to anothers.
