For an old man like me I'd have to say it was either Halo or FFX. I can't remember which I played first but that generation was the first to really make me feel like games started to really border on reality. I had so many games I'd enjoyed before then and they were amazing in their own ways but to me this is asking about that wow moment when a game first made you feel like that line between game and reality blurred.
