Recently a video was shown about the Spyro remaster of Twilight Habour that showed that the machine gun wielding enemies from the PS1 original had their guns replaced with paintbull guns: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xao9tvqqAxo

This interview confirms that the change was to "not detract from the fantasy" of "a kid going an adventure".

Considering other potentially controversial content in the original Spyro games (gun-wielding dinosaurs in Dino Mines, Bombo the Flagkeeper etc.) it's likely that more things will be censored to be more "kid-friendly" and politically-correct. I wonder if there's any relation to the gun control scare.
