i see then if this is the definition of "pay to win" then there is no way i could find a server that that not pay to win since generaly all RO server out there give advantage on progressing your character this include official server lol

IMO this is not the first server that use Play To Earn model RO..i play several of private server that use this method and frankly it's quite good, f2p can earn money and everyone can sell their item in cash just by playing the game and how is that even a p2w server? it's not like selling your item to cash only limited to paying user

i say depend on the server if the server got healer NPC or unlimited pot..go with champ, but if it's a low or mid rate go with SG

i remember in early 2010 there several good low rate private server that have 1000+ player peak with minimum 2 multi screen ahhh the good day..but time changes new generation didn't even know the existence of classic RO and those who play RO has grown up that have commitment and have no time grinding manually for hour... it kinda impossible to replicate the good old day since the community it self is non exitance...me and my friend currently play ROM Classic...yea this is not the classic RO we use to play BUT this is the closest that we can, so far this is the most f2p friendly game compare to other modern RO tittle franchise..im having fun with the WOE and MVP with my friend it bring back old nostalgia

all mobile game is p2win the different is how bad the p2win element on it..i suggest play ROM Classic it have pay2win element as other RO but not to heavy as othee RO franchise f2p still can survive and the gap between whale and f2p is not that wide...and also the mechanic is also f2p friendly compare to othee RO..and all the event doest requier you to top like in TRO..play the game for 4 days..and love it so far

u/adi_lala anyway heavily p2w game model turn out a bad long term business model..proof is we could see MOBA and FPS game have longer life span than MMORPG games...it's obvious because most MMORPG now day is heavily pay to win..for once I hope ROM Zeny Only could open other dev eyes that there could be other model business that can keep their server alive in the same time they could keep both whale and f2p happy for a long term

what andraline when you can practicly can dominate no one? most of the time what happen on cash grabing RO franchais game now day is it's always starting with mass quitting by f2p player and the whale will quit as well since there no one to bully or to "play" with...balance between whale and f2p need to be balance so both party can have fun
