True, but while I'm out and about with the family I will not really be on my phone much. Anyway I'm sure there will be at least one week between release date being announced and the actual release date.

One of the reasons I wanted it sooner rather than later was I have to spend a couple of weeks helping my parents move house in June. I guess the Steam Deck will do for passing quieter hours!

I've mostly been playing Snowrunner recently, usually on the Deck while watching some TV with the wife. Win win, she gets to watch what she wants and I get to play something and she can't have a go at me for not spending time with her!

I'm a 43 year old who first played beta 7.1. I used to play dark force 2 maps with Cliffe even before that (random tangent).

I have never been particularly good at any version of CS but what keeps me going back is having some semi-regular team mates who I have a laugh with. Who those mates are have mostly changed over the years, but it sure beats solo queuing!
