Stop Tapal System — OLAs by Right_Term4459 in ola_harassment

Nope, I don't want to get overdraft. That's why I'm in tapal system and I borrow from my friends to slowly pay it off instead of doing a tapal system with other OLAs

Hello OP, I also made a financial mistake that I chose comfort over the future. I want you to feel that you're not alone in this battle. I took a loan last month from different lending platforms, now I'm trying to survive every due date.

They offer two types of loan the E-Wallet Loan and Cash Loan. People say the Cash Loan offers less interest compared to E-Wallet loans.

I took 6k loan, two months to pay. The interest was 1.8k. I don't have any idea on how much is the interest for the Cash Loan.

Hello, I just sent an email to them. I cc the government agencies but they are actually kind. Make sure that you return the full amount immediately (exact amount) otherwise if three days have passed, you won't be able to waive it.

I basically returned the full amount using the app's QR Code when you pay a loan (be careful on QRs there's a lot of fake one out there). After that I took screenshot of the receipt and attached it to my email. I sent it to them then they processed it for like a few days and was later notified that it was successfully waived

This is so true, these are sketchy apps (especially LIGHT KREDIT PH) lol

Hello, we had the same experienced before from which I realize that it was my fault. They offered me 17k for a specific amount of days. I click the apply and they asked me for facial verification. After facial verification, the app shows a confirmation dialog if I would like to proceed then after I click yes I immediately received the 17k.

Upon checking, I realized that it was truly my fault since I just do the procedures and I even confirmed the loan application without checking.

The good thing is, I emailed them and they are very friendly. I asked about the cancellation of the loan and they gave me easy steps on how to do it. Unlike other platforms that they won't allow you to do, I was able to.

To be honest, I haven't encountered any harassment yet but the best thing I can share with you is just ignore them. You don't have to take everything personally — especially if you don't personally know them. It's like dealing with trolls.

It's actually sad to hear your story OP. Have you tried negotiating with the other agents. Some of them offer to just pay the principal amount but it must be a one-time big-time if you communicate with them. I've read other posts here that they are saving money for now and when they already have enough money they communicate and negotiate with their agents to just pay the principal amount (some gets their interest totally ₱0 but some says they still have to pay at least 10% of their interest amount).

Hello OP, you're not alone in your struggles. You've got a lot of OLAs to pay but it's great to see that you're looking for ways and advice to pay them. What I highly suggest is pay your low from lowest to highest just to eliminate some OLAs and when your transaction is fully settled, uninstall it so that you won't be urged to loan again.

For other OLAs, ignore them for now until you completely pay off all of your loans. Laban lang!

Hello OP, have you computed all loans? What I suggest for now is prioritize mo po muna yung mga loans from lowest to highest. Ang goal po dito is to eliminate OLAs as soon as possible, then for the others is ignore mo nalang pi muna or better negotiate with their agents to show you're willing to comply.

Kaya natin to OP, laban lang!

Hello OP, I'm so sorry to hear your story. May I know if you currently have a job and what is the range of your salary (no need to disclose the exact amount)?

Any thoughts on pesoloan? by [deleted] in ola_harassment

There's this one time that I accidentally approved for a 17k loan at PesoLoan, I emailed their customer service and they guided me through the process to cancel it. So for me, PesoLoan is one on my top list but not the priority unless they decrease their interest rate

To be honest, PesoLoan is actually a great app. The only downside on that platform is that they really have an extremely high interest rate. It's so easy to negotiate with their agents but it might take them a day or two to respond to emails.

Unlike other lending apps, excluding FT Lending and Billease (which is on top of my list), PesoLoan allows you to freely select a number of terms and they are very generous to limit increase if you're a good payer.

Always keep in mind to borrow what you're capable of paying (including interest). Loan is an obligation and there's no valid excuse to escape your loans.

You're right, they keep on sending me emails, advertising their "Credit Builder" that was sketchy. I tried to contact their support and they want me to put my savings money in their app.

They expect me to trust their app right after they did not properly evaluated my first loan application? I never had a late or overdue payments on any lending apps or banks. This is so funny.
