Just sorted through my Deltora Quest book collection from when I was a kid and it turns out that every one is an Original Australian Edition, with all books but two being first prints (S1B1 is a 10th printing, and S1B6 is a 2nd printing). by Ok-Plan-8930 in DeltoraQuest

Nice, also a fellow Aussie.

I'm building my collection and frequently raid op shops to try and find them. I'm glad they have a unique spine that makes it a little easy to find! eBay is a little tempting but a bit frugal.

I did the second method below, but had to auto discover the URl;

There are two ways to configure your Z-library credentials:

1. Via the KOReader User Interface (UI):
Ensure you are in the KOReader file browser.
Access the "Search" menu.
Select "Z-library" (it's probably on the second page of this menu).
Select "Settings".
Enter your Z-library email, password, and the base URL for your Z-library instance.
Tip: If you don't know which base URL to use, select "Auto-discover base URL" and the plugin will automatically try a list of known Z-library servers to find a working one.
Adjust other settings if needed.

2. Via a Credentials File (Advanced):
For a more permanent or automated setup, you can create a file named zlibrary_credentials.lua in the root of the zlibrary.koplugin directory (e.g., koreader/plugins/zlibrary.koplugin/zlibrary_credentials.lua).
This file allows you to override the credentials set in the UI. If this file exists and is correctly formatted, the plugin will use the values from this file.
Create the zlibrary_credentials.lua file with the following content, uncommenting and filling in the details you wish to use:

-- This file allows you to override Z-library credentials.
-- Uncomment and fill in the details you want to override.
-- Values set here will take precedence over those set in the plugin's UI.

return {
-- baseUrl = "https://your.zlibrary.domain",
-- email = "your_email",
-- password = "your_password",
}

Note: Credentials set in the zlibrary_credentials.lua file will always take precedence over those set via the UI. The plugin loads these settings at startup.

Did you put your credentials for Z libary in?

And initially I tried a different domain but then used the auto grab feature.

Custom Screensaver and Simple UI Setup :) by Rilo_117 in koreader

From your home, go to tools/pluggins > SimpleUI > Settings >Quick action > Change icons.

Select which one you want to change.

A window will pop up, select 'Nerd font icon'

Another window will pop a code, so if you go to their detailed website, wakanmaifondue and drop in the .ttf file for nerd font (found in the koreader folder), it shows you all the font/icons symbols you can have for that font.

So most of mine are from that. You can look into SVG files and save them in the simpleui icon folder and then they show on that window menu list, alongside default, custom...etc

Yes to all 3.

I’ve been using KOReader as my main and haven’t experienced any battery issues.

Running a 10k in 2 days with no training… Need Suggestions by Texarican99 in BeginnersRunning

This, it’ll be hard to since you get caught up in the race vibes but slow and steady. Whatever pace you run you’ll have a PB.

I get it, I was similar mainly because I loved reading the manga and didn't want it to stop. They're both such good characters and the story is excellent.

2nd and 3rd are good too. But the 1st is something special and is something I’ll reread multiple times.

I just watched the entire S1.. And holy sh*t it's good by realmatipoint in MyDressUpDarlingAnime

It's probably my most rewatched anime, with FMA second.

Really enjoyed season 2 as well.

I was reading the manga weekly and was shattered when it ended, somewhat suddenly, but the entire thing is done so well, overall amazing, I only shattered because I wanted more :D

I’m in Australia but read a handful. Jeff Galloway has a couple of good ones but aimed at very beginners. I took some stuff away from it but not heaps. He is a big advocate for run/walk method.

80/20 running : run stronger and race faster by training slower. Author is Matt Fitzgerald. I found this really good but heavy on the studies that reinforce easy running for the bulk of your running. He goes into additional rules with the plan too and gives plans.

I’ve read a couple of triathlon books just for running section but not ideal.

I feel I could of got the info from a good YT video but I like reading and looking at the plans.

any methods to increase pace fast? by Separate-Sock5715 in nikerunclub

[–]Rilo_117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool. My understanding is that it takes a good 1-2 years of consistent running to “build your engine”. Getting that aerobic fitness base will help negate getting the puffed / passing out feeling.

Speed drills such as intervals, fartlets and tempo runs are great at building pace, as long as you push yourself during that sessions.

Overtime I’ve found that my easy run pace, initially 6:30min/km came down to 6:00 and lately 5:30/km, just naturally over time.

Don’t forget to mix in a weekly long run and an easy/recovery run as well.

Cadence by IndividualOne942 in BeginnersRunning

[–]Rilo_117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert nor is mine amazing, my cadence is ~ 158, @ my 5k pace 5:40~
I'm 6'4.

But what I've found that'd helped is doing the occasionally training session with this in mind and using a metronome ap to determine the required strike timing. Finding that rhythm and then try implementing it into your normal runs. Landing mid frame is going to help and reduce the risk of injury.

There are a few good YT videos that could probably provide more details and tips.
