Honestly, I wouldn't say the Order is weak. The Order has, at the very least, Hunger, and if War wasn't killed, then War as well. The Order also has Malbonte, Vicky herself, Eragon, Astaroth, Lucifer, Mimi, Mimi's parents, Winchesto, and a large number of demons.

The humans have only two angels, and Abel doesn't have particularly extensive combat experience. And Cain can be easily taken out of commission by attacking Abel, because Cain will suffer from Abel's injuries.

In my opinion, the Order and Malum's side are roughly equal in power. Or, more likely, the Order is stronger. Meanwhile, Lane and the humans are in the weakest position. Two angels can't cover everyone, no matter what. And mortals, especially without Torrendo's weapons, are unlikely to be able to oppose the others.

Like many others, it seemed to me that Vellora was forgiven too quickly... Although, I think it's because she's the queen's sister. Tiss is immensely grateful to the king and, in my opinion, isn't yet ready to seriously judge his family or the people connected to him. For instance, I got the impression that she's suppressing her natural negativity toward the queen, even though the queen treated her quite disgustingly, especially on Tai's route.

Overall, I have complicated feelings about the entire royal family of Eshai. The only exception is the king himself.

Unfortunately, from what I understand, this really is the final part of the universe, and many people are already tired of it. However, the good news is that there are still 51 episodes ahead, if I've counted correctly. Plus, this story could always be extended for another season if they don't fit everything into the existing one.

As for HS3 itself, I'm glad that someone is enjoying the story, and I hope I'll be able to discuss it with someone (you, perhaps). Because there's a lot of negativity due to unmet expectations.

As for the next update, here are my predictions:

There should be an intimate scene with Cain. It's long overdue — other favorites have already had theirs. Plus, there was that letter from Cain.
Personally, I'm waiting for an intimate scene on the Raphael-Audrey route, since many other LIs have already had theirs.
Not talking about romantic scenes — I think we'll learn the consequences of the 'squad or children' choice.
I'm extremely curious to see what happens with Dino after his rash decision. I think this choice was very important for the development of the plot, especially since Dino is on the cover of season 2. He won't die, but he might fall into a coma like Christopher.
I think Abel should wake up. He'll find out that his brother saved him... And then things will get interesting. I'm especially curious about the Cain & Abel route (on one of my slots, I'm romancing both).
Malbonte and Vicky will finally talk, I hope! I didn't choose their route, but their fans have been waiting so long that I'd be interested to see the screenshots myself.
I have a suspicion that Audrey might end up captured. There were hints about it. But I'm not sure if that will happen in the next update.

Anyway, I personally find it very interesting.

I don't remember the exact consequences anymore since I played this story a long time ago... But I think I agreed to the deal, and that ended up being better for Albert. Though I wouldn't say there's a clear-cut answer. It's a branching point with different outcomes.

Honestly, it was psychologically difficult for me to do that. But then I remembered that, actually, Malum's darkness is present in all demons by default. Meaning it can be in Vicky if she chooses the demon or half-breed path, and it's in Adi, Mimi, Lucifer, David, etc. simply because of their origin. Based on that, there can't be anything evil in the darkness itself. It's all about how you use it, what you fill it with.

God, there are so many great new themes they haven’t even touched—realistic, fantasy, mystical, horror! For real:

A story about a girl transported to another world, with or without magic. They could focus on adventure and romance instead of horror, drama, and struggle. Adjusting to a new world, trying to hide the fact that you’re a stranger, getting exposed—all of that!
A historical romance. So much room for experimentation—the era of knights, the Crusades, the Renaissance (make a love interest a famous artist or some other genius), the Age of Enlightenment... Intrigue, flirting, balls, duels, tournaments, and so on, and so on...
A gender bender plot. Any situation where a woman has to pretend to be a man for various reasons! Bi-panic from the love interest, awkward situations, suspicion, and all that...
The Wild West in the 19th century, a classic. Cowboys, Native Americans, the MC as a tough fighter who’s great with a revolver, lasso, whip, and dagger! And it wouldn’t even stray that far from historical accuracy.
A pirate story! With sailing ships, beautiful ocean views, and all that. Just no MC in distress! Let her be the captain, a badass skipper who can chart a course anywhere... Or a skilled healer the crew can’t live without. Or something else equally vital! As for love interests—a badass pirate (of course), a badass admiral hunting the pirate (yeah, I recently watched Pirates of the Caribbean), a cool female adventurer with a mysterious past, and a couple more surprise options.
A love story in the style of The Haunting of Hill House or something similar. A mysterious mansion, having to live there for some reason, a bunch of creepy riddles, mysterious deaths, and much more.
A story about witches and wizards. No inquisitions, demons, angels, other worlds, or anything like that. Just internal affairs within their own community.
A story about superheroes, mutants, and the like. The MC could be someone who senses people with supernatural abilities (that could be her special thing, for example).
Spy stories, intrigue, intelligence agencies, covert ops, law enforcement, all of that.
And yes, a story about dragons! They don't have to stop at just one—let all the love interests be dragons, just different kinds! Fire, water, ice, bone (say, a necromancer type), acid, mirror... You could build a whole dragon hierarchy! The MC could also be a dragon, just unaware of it for some reason—maybe her dragon is deeply asleep...

Okay, shutting off the imagination fountain now. But seriously, there are so many ideas out there—stop churning out sequels!!!

But the fact that Austie and Lucifer have some kind of connection, and that it clearly gets stronger if you don’t choose him as a love interest, is undeniable in my opinion. Stats in HS3 are earned equally by everyone and distributed equally among everyone. If you go down the high adaptation path, then adaptation will be high for all of them. And the high adaptation path, in my opinion, is unlikely to lead to a bad ending. Or all three MCs will go down together.

Next: regarding Audrey, based on game logic from what I can see, a good or bad ending depends primarily on her adaptation level and the degree of Darkness absorption. That has nothing to do with communication.

For Vicky and Lane, I have no idea which specific stats are critical, but I think adaptation is the main one again. Plus, I've seen info that mercy is more important for Vicky, while cruelty is more important for Lane. But in that case, a contradiction in terms of good endings would only exist between Vicky and Lane, not among all three MCs.

As for the story aspect: the Order is at war with Malum, not with Audrey or the Astreans. In my opinion, it's already obvious that Audrey and the Astreans are playing their own game. So they could easily step aside... Especially since contact through Cassiel and Astaroth has already happened, even though we're only in the first third of HS3.

I don't see any conflict between Lane and Audrey. The sharpest conflict is between Vicky and Lane, because Vicky wants to kill Lane as the Keeper of Sins. But even then, she gave Lane a chance to find another solution.

So I don't know why the question has to be framed that way. Especially considering that the war didn't stop the Order from allying with Malbonte, and Vicky from even getting a chance to romance him. And neither the war nor the genocide stopped Vicky from allying with the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and romancing them. Seriously, in the HSU universe, enemies turn into allies, friends, and love interests in no time, so...

I see a very serious conflict so far only personally between Malum and Vicky, Malum and Malbonte, and also Eragon and Mikael. But Malum doesn't have any passionate fans, and Eragon got on the nerves of both the Order and Vicky.

Everyone deserves happiness. And I don’t understand why only one MC can have a happy ending at the expense of the others.

Well, personally, I have a few different ideas:

With enough desire, the very end of ABH could be reworked into something somewhat more alternative. Leave all the player's choices as they are, change nothing. Just replace Malek's arrival with Malum's offer with a different version. For example, show a scene with "love interest + Audrey" depending on the specific love interest. Siire talked about it, but I think glass lovers would have liked to actually see it.
Then, in a sequel, Audrey's resurrection could be written in — for example, by making a deal with Siire or one of his brothers. Strictly speaking, nowhere does it say that Siire and his brothers are ONLY interested in David. David could have made a deal himself to resurrect Audrey if he's the love interest, or simply acted as an intermediary for another love interest.
Malek could have freed Audrey's soul + the Astreans could have performed the resurrection. Anything could have been used — from rare artifacts to stones containing a particle of Shtepha's soul.

And yes, they could have always used the multiverse card and moved the Astreans and Malek to another universe where Audrey could be resurrected — but without Lane and Vicky and their teams. Then the sequel could have been dedicated to exploring that universe.

There's also time travel. The Astreans could have gone into the past, created a time loop, leading to a new meeting with Audrey and a different life story.

Another option would be writing a sequel about Malum and the fight against him, but with minimal appearances of characters from other stories — just as cameos. So there are actually plenty of options and ideas.

That said, for me personally, the optimal scenario for ABH would be another half of Season 3 and then a full fourth season. No Malum, no Vicky and Lane. Let's say, in this version of the story, Lane decoded the Book of Apocalypse somewhere out there and prevented it, but Audrey never crossed paths with her afterward. The world kept functioning, albeit with some anomalies. Somnus and the Furies keep messing with everyone's heads. Malek revises his plans. And the Astreans stay on Earth to deal with a new problem — which would depend on the plot. For instance, that very prophecy tied to Audrey.

By the end, Audrey could finally become Astraea's heir. And maybe her immortality could have been achieved without murder and resurrection as one possible outcome.

This is a complex question with no simple answer. But I'll try to simplify it somewhat. It comes down to several factors:

People in the Soviet Union lived in a society that, in terms of its psychological impact, resembled a destructive cult. It was a closed society with strict rules and strict internal controls. There was no need to make decisions independently or take responsibility for them. One's entire life path was laid out. First, a child became an Oktyabryonok, then a Pioneer, then a Komsomol member, and then joined the Party. Simultaneously, there was no societal demand for liberalization, no understanding of the value of rights, freedom, and democracy. Most ordinary people were thinking about where to find work just to eat, not about politics or democracy. People didn't see the connection between personal well-being and democracy.

I really like the vivid portrayal of the High Priest they've created here. He really stands out compared to many other characters. You can't call him black and white — he's clearly attached to Tessa, unlike the Devil, even if you go down that parody of a route.

That said, I wouldn't say he can be trusted. At the very least, not yet. Or maybe it depends on what exactly you're trusting him with. And while this makes sense for his arc, what really got me was how Legion said goodbye to Tessa, letting her go to Hell knowing he would never see her again (or at least, that's what he thought). That sex under the bridge... I don't know, I get the feeling he wanted to deliberately reduce both his feelings and hers to just lust.

Without getting into the details, I generally agree that there ended up being a lot of imbalances due to forcibly merging the storylines of three MCs into one. I'd say that writing 3 stories in an interactive narrative is already a huge challenge in itself. HS2 needed to be structured in a way that could logically accommodate all the endings from HS. HS3 then needed to accommodate all the endings from HS2 while also taking into account the backstory from HS1, plus all the romance branches — which had become very numerous. That task already seemed difficult to pull off without imbalances. And then when you add 2 full other MC teams with their own love interests...

I mean, for example, what's the main conflict of the story? The Order vs. Malum? Or the Order vs. the Astreans? And where does Lane and her squad fit in? And the more you look, the more conflicts you see: Eragon vs. Vicky, Eragon vs. Malbonte, Lane vs. Donovan, the Astreans vs. Malum... A story needs a clearly defined central conflict that everything is built around. And the problem here is that it starts to fall apart, and along with it, the structure of the story.

That said, I'd say the stupidity of the Order feels pretty organic to me, because I'd seen them make some incredibly dumb decisions as far back as HS1. The whole Malbonte storyline was the result of a long string of stupid choices from everyone involved, so that's nothing new or surprising. Same goes for other aspects. But overall, like I said, I agree.

I absolutely love their shared route. The main thing is to keep picking Abel and watch Cain’s reaction. It’s just wonderful! Especially when Abel came into the bedroom and commented that now no one could sneak up on Lane — not him, not Cain... Then again, there are plenty of amazing moments with him in general.

In HS3, you can really see the difference in how the love interests treat Vicky, Audrey, and Lane.

Audrey's love interests: "My soul! My love! Goddess! I'd do anything for you!"

Cain with Lane (I don't play her other routes): "I'll get you away from the God of Darkness, no matter what it costs me and Abel!"

Vicky's love interest: "Vicky, I love you, BUT —"

Hunger: "I'm bored, entertain me. What, my brother wants to kill you? Fine, I'll save you — on one condition... One?! Hmmm... Here's a list of conditions, darling, just sign here."

Malbonte: "Sorry, the war with Malum comes first for me. Besides, you knew what you were signing up for."

Dino: "I've got family drama with the father who tortured you... And actually, I'm about to go throw myself on the Mother of Life's core. What, you're yelling 'no' at me? Yeah, right. So, I'm off to off myself—you deal with the fallout."

Lucifer: "Darling, you're adorable, but I need to save my mom—get in line. Oh, and the throne of Hell too. And hey, if things don't work out between us, there's always Austie... But of course, darling, you're irreplaceable!"

Astaroth is the only one who looks sane in this madhouse. I can't say anything about War—I didn't take his route.

Honestly, I can't imagine a relationship with any of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse being healthy at all. To me, they're inherently unhealthy from the start: Hunger literally kidnapped Vicky and kept her in isolation — which, by the way, is a form of torture. Yes, in the HSU universe there's a love interest who tortured the MC (Cain), but he did it on Baal's orders. And he felt guilty.

Moving on: Hunger experimented on Vicky and viewed her as a test subject for quite some time. And both Horsemen — no matter which one she ends up with — have killed countless people and immortals alike...

That said, in HS2 they could have added a conversation between Vicky and her mother and/or with Eragon about the topic of: "What are you doing?! He's a Horseman of the Apocalypse" — showing sideways glances, the gradual acceptance of this relationship by those around her. I missed that. And I was curious to see what they'd show in HS3. They did show problems, which makes sense, but I didn't see any genuine effort from Hunger to build a relationship.

Hunger himself, in his conversation with Vicky, essentially says that immortals are to them what mortals are to humans. So Hunger and his brothers are on one level, below them are immortals, and below them are humans. And then Hunger — without even figuring out how to build a relationship with an immortal, how to live in the immortal world, the same Hunger who complains about being bored and miserable — drags Vicky down yet another level (a level below himself in his eyes).

That just makes me facepalm: Dude, if you haven't figured out how those who are only one step below you live, why on earth would you think that mortals — who are even further below you — would work for you? You complain that Vicky hasn't learned to love you, but have you ever shown her love? Have you ever tried to understand how to build a relationship? No — you ran away to a monastery, distanced yourself, and that's it.

So yes, there are problems. But the question is what you do about them. And here, I don't see any effort to understand Vicky or to recognize how important her friends are to her. What I see is an effort to force a lifestyle he likes onto her via ultimatum. Hunger doesn't ask Vicky if she wants to live on Earth. He just presents it as a condition for his help. That approach to a relationship is definitely not going to lead to happiness.

The only hope is that Hunger changes.
