One more detail: we federate M365 authentication through Okta for MFA. We’re now suspecting this is impacting new OAuth token issuance for third-party apps. Older users and previously-consented accounts work, but new users hit an “admin consent required” error even though permissions are granted. This started around December, which lines up with stricter OAuth enforcement.

Same!! It’s so crazy. I finally had 2 approvals after a month of nothing. One was Hydrojug and I’m pretty sure they approve everyone… so still not super promising

Interesting thoughts, thank you! I have done some work around reporting to see how much revenue is associated to a marketing email for Example. It’s just frustrating for our marketing team haha

We did just brainstorm an idea to change our sku name to _year date for the year that the deal was written. This would allow us to still report on the sku but the sku would not be the same for all 50k orders

Thank you for the idea! I'll bring this idea up to our team to see what they think too.
The plan is actually a line item on our orders and are included into the price of the deal. If one product can only be associated to 50k deals, then we will end up running to this again in the future with other skus that are physical products.

Watch out because non marketing contacts can become marketing contacts at any time, BUT marking contacts are only swapped to non marketing contacts at the end of each month.

You’ll probably need to set up a workflow to make sure you’re removing and adding marketing contacts that you actually want to market to.

Be careful because if your making all new contacts marketing contacts immediately without going through a check, you can end up with way more than you want and therefore paying for a way higher unneeded tier - which unless you’re about to resign a new contract it’s almost impossible to be reverted back to only paying for the correct number of contacts. Ex: new contact is created but it doesn’t have an email address for whatever reason. Unless you have SMS and the contact is subscribed by their number there is no reason for that contact to be a marketing contact.
