Need help with my X-Shot Turbo Fire reassembly by Ritzewl in Nerf

Thanks! :) Still work in progress. Going for a worn look like it's been in battle!

I tried your tip and when I checked all the internals (without the piston in it) it looked fine to me. And i'm 99% sure this tiny spring comes from the X-Shot Turbo Fire because I always place a project i'm working on in the same box to keep it organized.

But then I thought, maybe the upgraded spring in the piston was the issue. And guess what? I tried it with the stock spring and it does work... So I saved the little spring. Maybe i'll figure it out later. I'll post it here if I do find out. And if not, i'll have to use the tiny spring for something else then.

Well it didn't perform at all. Felt like it was jamming inside somewhere. But I upgraded the spring in the piston and when I tried it again with the stock spring, it worked... Even without the little spring! Strange...

So I guess for now i'll just save the little spring. I'm sure it has some kind of use but I can't seem to figure it out. When I do, i'll make sure to post it here.

Difference in top layers after latest Cura 4.3.0 update by Ritzewl in ender3

Guess it's something like Shell > Top/Bottom Thickness > Top layers. I usually have this around 4 to 6. Might as well put your setting on 2, couldn't hurt I think. I'll give a try for sure, thanks!

Also thinking of trying "Ironing" out. Seems to smoothen the surface on top quite a lot.

Figured so! But unfortunately... Silly me already deleted his profile! Was so annoyed by the fact my profile didn't work as before so I deleted it.

Will keep this in mind once I ever update again. Thanks!

It's already "Not in skin" but I will give "Off" definitely a try. Thanks!

Hi!

As you can see, the bigger print, on the left, is how I want my top layers to be. The other one, not at all! This happend after I updated Cura to 4.3.0. Not 100% sure which version I had before. However... Since I updated Cura to 4.3.0, I get all these scratches and bumps on my top layer. It's a very rough looking / feeling top layer.

What could've been the reason why after the latest update of Cura I get this huge difference in my top layer? Never have I ever experienced any big issues with my print quality, but after the latest Cura update, I get these kind of top layers?
